[quote=If you look up how many Ohio members are signed up it is amazing!!! I don't know where they all are.]
We are here. We would like to attend various functions but with kids commited to high school activities and work it is hard to get away when we want.

Tom it’s unrealistic to think anyone can make all the outings a group schedules but it is possible to make one or two. Would an outing at Indian Lake State Park be easier for your family?
Hate to say it, but I'm in the same boat with High School Activities! My son has a rare saturday night football game on the 21st.
Good news is I got my truck back after some repairs and its driving like new! I'm looking forward to pulling with it now. Amazing what spark plugs without 1/4 gaps do.

It's not so much where we camp but how much time we have available to camp. We have friday night football games and my son is in band...and then there are his soccer games over the weekend, etc. For us it will be summer before we can camp again. My point was that there are folks in Ohio who would love to camp but time is the limiting factor. I guess all we we Buckeyes can do is keep planning camp outs and who ever can make them goes. Sooner or later we will all meet each other. You might have 6 trailers show up and 25 trailers that wish they could. I, for one, am very happy to see Ohioans getting organized like this. Kudos to you all. Those of us who are in a WBCCI Unit should try and get our units involved in Ohio campouts as well. Hope to meet all of you soon. Have fun next weekend.

Larry and I have elderly parents that we are caring for. They are just across the street from us which makes it easier, but we are also limited to the times on weekends that we can go.
We are big time band boosters and understand about shuttling kids and being a part of their activities. That is really important. Keep up the good work.
Catch a weekend when you can. We will be posting when we can get away, and maybe some of the rest of you can too, and before long all of us will have met each other!!! Sounds like a plan!
And I should add that we do love to have folks drop in to use our courtesy parking!! That is almost like a mini-rally too!!!

I need to check my calendar, but I would love to join this trip. I have dogs, could they come? I need some advice for my new/old '68 Tradewind, connections at camp sites, etc. This is my first Airstream, first camper, period. I am so excited!

Anyone else thinking about packing up food for this campout yet?? I am thinking we will have the potluck on Sat. evening probably. Dave's recipe sounds like a good start. What else are you all bringing?
Have any of the rest of you signed up at the rally zone so that we can see how many are planning to attend??
Lou

Does anyone have a theme, a menu, or a time for the potluck yet? We would like to bring something that compliments what everyone else is bringing if possible. – Thanks.
I don't think we have a theme, other than it is supposed to be a Fall gathering...if it doesn't snow on us!!LOL I am thinking that I will bring some kind of chicken dish..or maybe just put some on the grill at the campfire for Sat. Time??? I don't think we have a set time. Anyone want to suggest one?? Last time a few of us met we were really laid back and just went with when we were all hungry...which was most anytime that a few had a great idea about what to put in the pot next. It was a most yummy gathering!!
Let us know what you are thinking about for a time you want to visit so we will have the fire ready. Maybe supper between 5 and 7 p.m.?? Step in here and let us know folks...We are always open to great suggestions.

A thought on this weekends get together.
Alum Creek is farely close to Circleville, OH. This weekend is the Pumpkin Festival in Circleville. Our Rally is only one week from Halloween.
I think a pumpkin theme would be appropriate. As for names for our Rally:
The Great pumpkin Rally
The Mid-Ohio Pumpkin Rally
The Pumpkin Patch Rally.
Just a thought...
See ya all on Friday
Dave
