Hi Becky and Reed,
We welcome you to visit us at Dillon. You will find at least 2 silver ASs there as well as our little Argosy Minuette. We are glad to hear that there are more Ohioans jumping onboard. We have a nice group going. This campout is an add-on to Terry and Brenda's church camping group. We are joining them so there will be some other types of campers in our area as well. We have a potluck dinner going on Sat. We look forward to meeting you!

Great opportunity to see a variety of trailers - compare/contrast never hurts. As I mentioned, we've travelled far and wide looking at trailers and have narrowed our selection down to A/S. Now we're just looking for what we want. We'd love to find one a couple of years old but so far, no luck. If nothing shows up by next Spring, we'll buy a new one off the lot here in Columbus. We've travelled to other A/S sales lots in Ohio and have found our best selection FOR WHAT WE WANT right here in Columbus. (I say right here as I'm at work right now and I work in Columbus).
Anxious to see your trailers come the week end.

THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!!! We had a great time visiting A/S today. I can't think of anything more enjoyable than visiting with A/S owners and seeing their pride and joys. We enjoyed it a lot!!! Hope your community dinner went well and there was plenty of food for all - I can't imagine anyone going away hungry.

Thank you for dropping by! We all love showing off our AS. We also loved the candlelight dinner. Thanks for the apple squares, Becky! They were really yummy. Wish you could have stayed for the dinner. There was wayyy too much good stuff! Maybe you can make the next one. We will keep you posted!

Terry, we did stop by the Roscoe Village Festival. Bought 2 jars of apple butter. The festival was small and quaint. We did not do the village shop tour. The campout was lots of fun and we were sad to have to leave such good company. Thanks for inviting us to join you all!

Just wanted to say what a nice time we had. Terry and Brenda were great hosts. Potluck was yummy!! Have to agree with Lou-way way too much food. I don't think anyone went away hungry. I think anyone who has an airstream or argosy or avion is always more than happy to open the door and show it off to anyone who wants to see inside. We've not met anyone yet who doesn't want anyone to see inside. See everyone next time.

Ready or not folks the 2007

holiday season will be over in 15 days, and we will be looking at the new year. Most people we know use January to recover from the fast holiday pace that starts in November and end on the first. Repacking decorations, taking down the tree, cleaning out the refrigerator

, and in general getting back on schedule. But then we enter the blahs of February

.

To combat

the Blahs of February we rent a cabin at one of the State Parks in Ohio. Sometimes the weather is in the high 50's and beautiful , sometimes it's too cold to think about. But the cabins have wood burning fireplaces, are well equipped, and give us a chance to plan outings for the new year. Parks that also have lodges have additional amenities available to those in cabins.

Anyone interested in do a cabin in February?

Deer Creek is not cast in stone yet. The only thing fixed at this time is the date, and that was selected because Monday is a holiday for some. We would have no problem with any of the State Parks.

Sounds like you will have fun all cozied up in a cabin in the month of February! Larry and I are stuck on that Feb. weekend. We have basketball tournaments going on and the concession stand at the high school will be in full swing!

Karen, we look forward to meeting you sometime soon. We had several great campouts as an Ohio forums group last year and we had lots of fun! Hope you will keep an eye on the thread and join us!
