Isn't there a rule that the last person to arrive pays for everyone???

(KIDDING!)

If I'm arriving on Thursday do I pay the campground for Thursday only and pay you for the rest or pay the campground for the whole stay? Or?

Thanks so much for organizing and being the point person(s) for all of this!
Laurel

We're getting ready to leave tomorrow morning, staying overnight in B'field. Looks like Friday will be damp and very cold, so let's raise the freezing point with a little ethanol that night.

Is there anyone going to the Twentynine Palms Pistol and Rifle range besides me? It's across from the dump, in case you didn't know it had a name.

I would like to bring my 9mm to the range, but bringing a hand gun into California scares me. What are the handgun rules? In Arizona it's; keep it in plain sight and don't shoot other people. No permits required etc....

if you don't have a california CCW (either restricted or unrestricted) place your handgun or whatever, in a case, unloaded, seperate from the ammo, no carry, even in plain sight (there are some variations on plain sight, but to many to list).

i have an unrestricted california CCW, meaning concealed, (no restrictions on where i can carry, except federal property, like the post office, federal court buildings, military reservations, again varies by lic type). i wouldn't be afraid, just be legal. it's good in every western state, and who said calif., was so "blue".

i might attend, if it was early in the day... for obvious reasons. like be legal and safe.

No permits are required.

You must transport your pistol in a locked container. Glove boxes do not qualify.

In reality all you need to do is transport your pistol in your trailer. A trailer cannot be searched without a warrant.

If asked by LEO if you have any firearms just say no.

If I sound like a scofflaw its not true. I am only telling you what the Police at work told me when I was a Court Clerk.

the forecast is for less than a 1/4" of rain, it's going to be cold thurs and friday, but warm, sat, sun and mon. don't let the news media scare the dickens outa you folks driving from afar. they need something to talk about 24/7, kinda like me.

it's been 75 - 80 the last several days just north of los angeles, and will be again by the weekend. so chill. slow down, and be ready to greet old friends and meet new ones.

gee's i sound like my dad.
