short answer-yes, I've gotten 6 days of cold beer with dry ice, but then again I have a yeti.

I also use dry ice for small time explosive devices, and smoke and mirror activities.come to Casini for a demo.
where'd I put that det cord anyway, can't locate it maybe use a candle, or some string or twine or paper towels, heck I gotta get to bed, gotta be alert for the drive in the morning,
the winding road ain't that bad, I've done it in my 32 footer, just kick back and enjoy the extra hour of drive time on the slow road, actually kinda refreshing if in no hurry.

For all those who may be last minute types, or are thinking of someday owning an Airstream, or are just curious, or want to talk to people who own one....

In years past we have had a number of people show up and introduce themselves and take advantage of the opportunity to learn about Airstreams and meet folks from the Forum.... This is again one of those events.. You have to be willing to perhaps bring a bottle and some food, and walk up and introduce yourselves, but it's a great way to learn real world information.. A number of Airstreams here started as people who just showed up and wanted to learn why this group and these trailers (and a few motorhomes...) lead to forming such an interesting group of friends...

There are places to stay overnight along River Road, in Guerneville or Bodega Bay, and even non-Airstreams are OK, as long as they're parked far far away for the weekend...

For us with out traffic it's about 2.5 hours. We take 80 west to 37. I'll let you in on a little secret, don't tell anyone if you make a right on Lakeville hwy (just past hwy 121) it'll take about 4-6 miles off the route. Plus you'll bypass Novato traffiic. This will take you back to the 101. Head north form there to catch River Road exit. see ya at Casini.

We're ready to go, just need a little dry ice and something to go with it. be there tomorrow early afternoon.
One wire pen held 3 chihuahuas and the other a cat. No eggs there. However in the Airstream there's 2 parakeets. I don't think tey are much of layers.

I talked to Cam when he arrived. No 'egg' in his truck. He thought perhaps the weather wouldn't be good enough to 'fool with it'.

John; Codybear says she and Steve will be here. I don't see where they are staying. Also sites 148 and 146, full hook ups, have no names to them. DG says he and LL are down by the river, not 148 unless he changed his mind at the last moment...an unlikely event unless he got a bad egg or misfired an IED.

Cam went shopping, Dan went into his trailer. Lynn, Lizzy and I chatted with Margo and Jane until a chilly wind came up then we went in to have dinner and never went back out. I still have all the firewood that I brought.

Only half packed, but WE CAN'T WAIT! Looking forward to Casini, River, aluminum (you, not us) and some fine chances to enjoy evenings & days with some great folks. We leave CV Friday somewhere around 11 or 2 for a relaxing drive.

BTW, I use my home-based Egg in all kinds of weather, but the large Egg is about 150# so it is stationary. It is the BEST grill/bar-b-que/smoker available.

Sue: We will miss the lounge, but we have filtered water if you still have the espresso machine and need some....

Neil, Cliff, Andrea and friends,

We stopped by Cowgirl Creamery yesterday, well, no - we stopped by Cowgirl Creamery on the 12th and picked up some Mount Tam, Humboldt Fog, Mimolette, Gorgonzola, Crottin, Heublumen and Burrata in anticipation of dropping it off with Cliff and Andrea to bring to Casini. We even picked up some salumi from Boccalone.

We completely forgot! Please accept our apologies - we're so sorry. We were working on a project and it was a long day.

It wasn't until we read Neil's post that we remembered.

Can we stop by on Saturday night and bring it to the potluck? It's great excuse to see Cathy, Jeff and Collin, see old friends and meet new ones, have some deep fried turkey and possibly persuade Dee to share some turkey wings.

Your friends,
