With enough umbrella drinks under our belts, any rain will just add to the tropical feel. I'd better pack the hula skirt.

Prince Kuhio Day
speaking of Hawaiian stuff. guess what day tomorrow is, see title. But because the govt. is involved it is being celebrated NOW in the islands.
Tomorrow the local Hawaiian paddle club is sponsoring a paddle competition. guess who's going.
Karin/ what kinda blue lagoon drink is that?? will you provide me with one? two maybee?
I'ld have no problem drinkin one or two of those bluies in a hula skirt in the rain, maybe.
guess I need to learn to play the ukulele.
both of the toys I was gonna bring are illegal in this state, can we have the rally somewhere where flame throwers are legal?the primitive weapons aren't gonna make it either.I've ridden in the cop cart at Casini before with that copper gal- remember her? whew, time for a campfire talk

Following month, in May, we will be about 2 miles from Prince Kuhio's birthplace on Kauai, and will be sure to drink a toast (or 2, or 10) to him, but not blue, I'll stick to non-neon colors. My toys are all legal, at least in CA, I think....better not say any more. Also got a new flashlight or two, maybe we can impress your cop in her cart.
Any other theme suggestions? It seems we focused on zinfandels for Friday evening a couple years ago: should we broaden the theme with nice reds?
