I'm pulling the drainpipe out from the side of the house tomorrow to start loading before the rain sets in.
All this talk about which route to take, hell I been on them all without any problems, BUT time wise River Road is the quickest.And you can stop at Safeway in Gureneville and get a few tasty taco's from the truck thats parked there next to the main drag.
Because the wipers on the burb are non-op I'll be "Rain-X" ing the windscreen tomorrow.We'll take the miserable pounding of Hwy 80 from around Davis to just past Vacaville ( the road sucks on that stretch) then over 37 to Lakeville road, up 101 to 116. at fwy speeds the rain-x works fine, but when slower than 45 mph it would be nice to have wipers. So thats why I'll divert to 116 to sebastopol-graton,forestville,guerneville then my site.Went this way a few years ago and speed pulling the 32 was less than 35 mph, I can see thru the rain going that slow. Should be there early afternoon , or at least in time for the wine party at Sue's place.
may even heat up a can of Spam during the drive on the intake manifold to power down upon arrival

Mak'n a run for it!
We are heading out this morning. It's not raining and all the forcasts seem to be saying that rain along the way should be mimimal. We are scheduled in our site, 140, for tomorrow, Wed, but hopefully it is vacant for tonight. I would rather hear rain tapping on our 'drain pipe' from inside it and not the rain pounding on the car windshield. We'll look forward to watching the sites around us filling up.

WHAT STUFF! Our stuff is minimal.......well mine is, Lynn has her priorities. We arrived at Casini shortly before 4. Managed to walk between most of the raindrops during set-up....outside. I stuck to completing everything, blocks, unhitching, sewer, electric,water AND the tv cable.......then decided it wuz time for a P'ville Pacifico. I openned the trailer door and Lynn had piled all the STUFF to go outside. I had to unload that to get my beer.
There's a 34' Excella at the end of my row...looks to be in site 133. DJW?
It's not set up...just parked. Wonder if it one that is stored here. I wanna be the 1st here.
