Well, the only trouble is that *I* would have to get up at 6. Probably not gonna happen.

ROFLMAO- Thats probably ok, I most likely won't get up that early either. Unless it's raining and I can't handle being in the silvertube while someone shakes the marbles above my head.

OK, just checked the email and I got a confirmation too, for #126. So we are in. Did anyone have to confirm your vehicle info prior to check-in, per note in the email. Did anyone do that or not an issue?

Got my confirmation email from casini. 148. In the terms it indicates that in the past vehicle registration was taken at time of check in but now it is required before a confirmation can be completed, yet they gave me a confirmation #, So I guess I'm tentatively in until I send them the burb info. WTF.
here's what I just sent back to casini --
I gotta tell you right up front that you reservation system need a lot of help. I'm elegible for your over 60 discount for one night, no place on the online reservation form for that. no where on the online reservation form does it indicate anything about vehicle registration. My other question is"will you now bill me for a deposit as in the past 4 years that I've been coming to your campground or the full amount? What happens if I want to arrive a day early, can I just pull in a be assigned any random site? or do I need a online reservation for that also? and be charged additional fees for that also?
Don't get me wrong , my family enjoys Casini and have noticed how the facility is now being improved. Nice job there, and the folks that work at your establishment are some of the nicest we've met camping. BUT your new reservation system is already broken

I have an email confirmation from Casini also.
barts and webspinner will be in site 145, Fri-Sun.
As per the instructions on the reservation system, I gave our truck make, model and CA license number in the "notes" section. I don't know if they need the trailer info too.
When NevadaGeo visited us last year at Casini, they knew that his truck wasn't supposed to be parked at our place because his vehicle info didn't match our reservation. He had to get his truck officially recognized by them (there may have been a fee involved, I don't recall), then he spent the night on our guest dinette.

We are in!
Still haven't received our e-mail confirmation yet, but I did talk to Debbie at Casini this morning and she confirmed that we are in site #146. Debbie told me that some of the delay was that they were collecting the data from the on-line reservation system and manually reviewing everyone's choices to make sure we got the sites we wanted. I think as they get more comfortabile with their new on-line system things will go a lot smoother in the future.
See you at Casini!

We just made our reservations for site 143. Since we haven't received a confirmation as of yet, I called Casini and was assured we will be at that site. According to the persin I spoke with, all the full hookup sites are filled. Whew, we made it just in time.
Phyllis and I are looking forward to seeing you all again this year at Casini.

Are they all filled with Airstreams, does anyone know?
And, if not, do the folks in the SOBs know that we have them surrounded?

Any other crafters besides me, Barbie, and Pidget? I've started up a Ravelry group for Airstreaming crafters, and hope to put together a yarn crawl while we're in the area (lots of great yarn shops!).
