Zlee,
That's disappointing to hear. We are going to New Orleans at the end of
April just in time for JazzFest and it is work related, so timing on that is great. If you have any suggestions for "must see" in New Orleans let us know.

To rally with pretty much the same group that's going to be at Casini try to make our Fall rally at Jackson (Ca,) Rancheria. It's a really nice RV park and a shorter drive for you.

I'd thought about that - have to check the dates, there's some music festivals going on I have to get to!

Wow Scott, that sounds rough. Glad you're on the mend, and can think of few more therapeutic activities than Airstreaming. Fresh air, good company and good food will help. Looking forward to seeing you.

Can't wait for the good food.... Getting very board with a liquid diet

DIR1,

This will be the best possible therapy. We are really looking forward to hooking up the truck and hitting the road?

Scott- Sounds like a rough deal, but glad you're mending, and hope warm weather cooperates at Casini... (We should all be thinking warm thoughts, in hopes delayed winter decides to move on in time..). You'll be among other cancer survivors at the River, and will be most welcome.. It is good therapy, but plan to take it easy...

And Doorgunner, thanks for offer to come to Marysville on the 9th of June and "christen" my tires... I have invited several other Comanche and Airstream owners to join, but if you're thinking of showing up I'll need to make extra visit to local liquor store for another case of beer.. Just let me know... Good luck finishing the plane.. Somehow the last half takes 3/4 of the time.. (Rules of math somehow get distorted...).. Fortunately, I built a car in college, and that cured me of desire to ever build an airplane..

These are the things that happen in life, we play the cards as they are delt and do the best we can. This was my third time at the rodeo so I know what to expect. The timing looks good to make the rally before the radiation and chemo therapies start, but we will know for sure following the appointments early next week. The great news is the pathology report showed clear margins around the two tumors that were removed.

We are getting very excited as the rally date approaches, see all of you soon!

So; I'm cruisin thru Lowe's the other day when I notice a waaay cool revolving water sprinkler. about a 8" diameter hoop inside of another one. made out of copper pipe. small holes in each hoop located so the water pressure causes the hoops to rotate, each one independent of the other and moving in opposite directions. HOW COOL is that. So I get it home and start the conversion to Liquid Propane Gas. pressurized liquid ,right? Well don't try this at home, or at Casini, or planet Earth.
Run for your life Martha....

Tim,

When you sell all your stuff is it your plan to just do fly-overs at the rallys?

Maybe dropping the occasional flaming device that you put together from you local Lowes?

I think I see a place for a certain rocket bomb that used to travel on the burb. I thought I saw some strange brackets on the bottom of that air buggy.
