Oh by the way in bringing two crates of redwood for the fire. It may be a little wet but with DG's pyrotechnic's we should have it lit in no time.

Won't make this year's Spring Rally. Bobbie and I just put our home on the market and need to stay close during two open houses this weekend. Sigh ... We have been literally inundated by agents and clients wanting to locate into this section of Sunnyvale; so, wisdom dictates we forgo the good times at Casini this weekend.
The good news is that it looks like Bobbie will retire soon after we sell, allowing us to spend a lot more time in Iggy. Stay tuned....

Hi all, last minute check in! Karen and I are loading up, gassing up, air pressuring up, eating and coffeeing up, and getting ready to go (probably leave Lafayette after lunch, be there about 2).
For those of you there, what does the river look like? Are we going to dare to kayak??

I got caught up with welcoming a buncho 'Aerostreamrs' (that's what a white box camper on he river asked me dis morn'n) and didn't git my 'puter (that's what my grandson callsit) work done. So here's what piccys that I took before coffee.

Peter and Scott, you will be missed! I want to say "What's a more relaxing way to restore your health than a weekend at the Russian River?" but I know that staying home will be more restful. Have a great trip next week.

Thanks Webspinner, that was one of our thoughts, a restorative weekend with good company and our cozy trailer. I can't tell you how bummed we both are that we're going to miss this year's rally. We've got our fingers crossed for a space at Jackson. The Globie will be in the driveway tonight, so we'll get to enjoy it a little this weekend.
