So if we get to the 3' deep water crossing without a bridge, we're on the wrong path?

No matter WHAT your map or GPS say, do not try Route 116 or other proposed shortcuts unless you are pulling a small trailer with a sporty tow vehicle and enjoy bouncing and seeing license plate on back of your own trailer while holding up a long line of angry cars and motorcycles...
THE way to get to Casini from north or south is from Calif 101 to exit near Windsor on "River Road" north of Santa Rosa, and turn west.. That road is level, relatively straight, and follows the Russian River through Guerneville and direct to Duncan's Mills.. You may still annoy a couple bikers, but can average close to 50 mph except going through town and the real bendy parts west of Guerneville. When road straightens out and you see shops on the right ahead, slow down and turn left at what looks like an antique train, and head back over the bridge up the hill...
Several of the intersections off 116 aren't programmed into a number of GPS units, and in prior years people have looped around south of the river for hours... We'd hate for anyone to miss Happy Hour Friday evening...
|
Thank you, Condoluminum. I will add to this that there are low-hanging trees on that route on 116 that can painfully scrape your shiny aluminum. Ask me how I know. Anyway, River Road is the way to go.

We are confirmed. F2 I think. Looking forward to it. Now I have to think about the potluck. I have been trying my hand at home brewing so maybe I will bring some of the current brews.
Cheers

Glad to see you are in!
Not sure with those that have cancelled that were in sites # 126 & 129 and the current status of these two sites current availability. Hopefully they will be filled quickly by an airstream'r!
Same for the unreserved site of F6

Welcome Bruce and Ruthie!
You might consider snapping up one of the remaining places at the Jackson rally in October too.
Last year's Casini rally was our first, and now we wouldn't miss it for the world.

yum, food. If anyone is gluten free, pm me. Wow, the list of stuff looks really good. I'm not sure yet what we're bringing. Maybe something I can bake in my newly functioning Airstream oven. We're so looking forward to seeing everyone, thanks for pulling it together!

I didn't think about gluten free! If anyone is gluten free and wants chicken and dumplings, let me know so I'll use a different flour than wheat!
