Casini here we come!

We made a relatively spur of the moment decision to go to our first forum rally at Casini last year and we're hooked. We stayed in the F area, which is a nice grassy spot slightly above the full hookup sites. It was a lovely view over a sea of silver. But we're vintage enough not to have a gray tank, so we're going for the convenience of full hookups.

The new reservation system was interesting. I think I've booked a site, but I'm not sure which one. I sure hope I didn't step on anyone else's toes with my 2nd and 3rd choices.

Still, I do like it better than waiting on hold during hours when it isn't always easy for me to get to a phone.

I'll have my spinning wheel again. I might even bring a small loom and show that it is possible to spin and weave even without the benefit of tequila.

It appears that your first choice selection is your default choice. I selected the same site for each choice

When you revisit the reservation system to make a second reservation or more for the same dates, you will find your first choice site not listed as an option.
It's been a long wait for this system to be active.
A little lengthy process, hopefully their confirmation email will be sent before the rally!

All this newfangled technology takes some getting used to.

I call dibs on #145, unless and until I am notified otherwise, then.

It hasn't been much of a winter, and I can't even call it long since Jackson, but I'm so ready for Airstream season to start. Hmmm, I've still got work to do before we're ready to roll. I'd better get cracking.

Hi,

I am new (I'm Mrs. Redwoodguy) and we just booked a reservation to join the group. Haven't been to any rallies yet so looking forward to meeting everyone. I tried to pick numbers that weren't taken yet, not to take anyone's favorite spot. I chose #126 as first choice, but will see what they actually give us when I get the email confirmation.

Sounds like fun... look forward to meeting the group.

These are independent forum rallys. They pop up all over the place and some say they might be more fun than those other rallys..

Jump in and join us. You are most welcome. You can make reservations right on line through Casini's website. Most stay in the full hookup area but you are free to settle anywhere you choose. It does however fill up fast.

Russian River is a great area and I have always loved that area around Duncan Mills. It's just the right distance from the ocean. The site looks really great. I wasn't even aware of an RV park there. Thanks for the invite. Me and little Pidget will be looking forward to getting out in the new 'streamer and meeting people!

Since Webspinner and Pidget are both going to be there, I was thinking of coming and we could have a couple of S'n'B sessions.

I'm trying to remember, is the Richmond/San Rafael bridge trailer-friendly? I'll still be a novice tow-er, and really am not so confident of towing the Bambino through the city.

I have traveled that bridge many times as an alternative to the city. No problem...

We have a "pending" reservation for site 137....made through the on-line reservation system. They don't even let you see what's available until you give them your credit card info...what's up with dat?

Casini shows the following sites open in the full hook area: 123,127,128,129,133,134,141,144,146

We need to find out who's in sites 122,126,142,143..... ether aliens in sob's or fellow streamers that haven't chimed in!

Happy New Year all!!!!!! I went ahead and booked my site using the online wacky reservation system. Wacky in such away that I had to pick three sites only when I want just one # 127. So, I picked just one. Well see if I get it or not. looking forward to seeing everyone this come April.

We booked #126 as first choice and if memory serves, 130 as second.
