By the River

Stan;
Linda Lu has become a strong paddler, she paces me when I'm working out for the marathons and 10 K's.
Cliff- hope your Kitty and hand are better. I have a few extra kayaks. If you really want to paddle I can bring them also. We've got everything needed, PFD's & paddles. Just let me know.
If it's going to rain, I'll be leaving the boats home.
sounding more like Deliverance each day.

Actually, though we all make lots of jokes about them, I quite like the banjo.

Oh yea;
forgot to mention-- "Justified" starts back up tonight on television!!!
It's really about what banjo music does to the soul.Lets see what Marshal Raylan Givens has to deal with this series.

OK here's the deal. Casini didn't confirm my reservation for spot 143. However; they called me this morning and have promised me a spot in the full hookup section even if they have to move one of their "permanent" RVs. I had made my reservation on line, then called Casini and was told spot 143 was vacant. I asked if I should book the site over the phone as a precaution and was told that since I had made the reservation on line, site 143 was mine. OOPS! It appears they double booked the site after my reservation was made. The story has a happy ending in that they will honor my reservation somewhere in the full hookup section even if they have to move one of their "permanent" RVs. This is convenient for me in that my '68 Overlander has no grey water tank. I think that from now on, I'll just make my reservation at Casini over the telephone.

BOBZ;
sounds like they're using the airlines booking software.
funny thing is --for months before the online system started up, if you called to make a rezzie they told you to wait till the new system was up and then do the online thing.
Too bad they missed the mark on this thing. they were trying to reduce their workload and instead tripled it. sad, whoever sold them the software really didn't communicate with casini exactly what was needed, content, explanations, etc.
I did receive my confirmation from casini, not the booking agency and my credit card was attacked for the full amount. Still waiting to see if my email with the questions will ever be answered.
I can camp anywhere, don't really need hookups for 4 nights, just wanted a little piece of concrete in case it rains.
I'm still gonna have a wonderful time with a great group of campers!!!
back to U-Tube for more banjo

Hi there,

As Jeff said, this is a very fun bunch of Airstreamer's. It was 6 years ago this April we joined this group for our first outing and first Rally and have been hooked ever since.

Our two kids Jessica age 6 and Brock age 2 will be tagging along on this very fun outing. Casini has a very nice play ground for the little ones to wear them selves out.

I can't think of a better way to start the camping season off, but by being surrounded by silver. Hope to see ya there.

Robert

Just reserved site #98, right above sites 143 & 144. All the full hookup sites are booked! Our 4-year old daughter will have a blast. Thanks for putting this together Coastalview!

Aspirations,,
I don't know the Russian river very well at all, what I have read indicates that at the time we are there Steelie season is about over and Shad season has not yet begun. I am hoping you are more familiar with the river maybe you know some tricks to fishing it during this time.
There is also a very nice 9 hole golf course nearby if anyone else has this horrible addiction.

Hi Coastalview
We made a reservation online and I think we may be in either 134 or 143. This will be our first rally and we are looking forward to meeting everyone!
