We got our rezzie this evening. Site 98. I asked for it if the full hookups were gone. there IS a God after all. #98 is north of the main group but in sight. Nice grassy area near the restrooms and showers and on the path to the river. Come by and say hi.....

Tim, perhaps I can answer your question for, Jeff. I took this picture from near the same spot as Jeff's avatar. Jeff's is a better angle though.

Ok Folks, I've been lurking in your thread watching all of you have fun for a year or so. I've decided to jump in if you don't mind. Being all the nice spots are taken I decided to take the scooter over to Casini today to see what's left. The first sign I see besides 7MPH is "No Motorcycles". Uh-oh. I pulled up to the store and told the guy in the golf cart not to shoot. He mentioned that the signs were from the 60's trying to keep us Harley noisy people out but he said they make exceptions and was cordial. I spoke to the woman at the check in hut and here is what I found:
All the F's are open for April 12-14. She did say that someone called about an F site and she tried to call back and leave a message. I assume it was you Airslide. Anyway, the other sites open are: 20 A,B,C,D, 4A,B, 62-68A (inclusive), 69,70,83,84, 88-90, 92-94, 96,97, 103A-108. (SEE ATTACHED PIX) Open sites are in orange highlighter.

I chose F11 arrive Friday Depart Monday and she's waiting for the other guy (Airslide?) to call back. Speaking for F-Troop, you need to update your map. F runs from left to right F1-F20 with F20 ending inline with 123 (See attached pic of ammended map). BTW: I prefer "F-Troop" to "Crap Packers" for us outsiders. Although we rarely fill the black tank we may take advantage of the honeywagon service for grey water, $12 if you schedule in advance.

I look forward to meeting all of you. I figure that we can either fill up the F's from the middle out or by utilizing the odds first and then the evens.

Maggie says she can do riceballs (like sushi) for the pot luck. We can bring Sauza Tres Generaciones as required for medicinal purposes.

Welcome SuperTrouper! Glad you decided to join us. All the sites are nice, the F sites are a little bit tighter. In past rallies, we have seen the F sites filled 1-12. There are a total of 20 but compressing them all into our map would appear to look like sardines in a can
Since you are the first confirmed in the F sites, you now lead the F-Troop!

Thanks for the welcome!

A: You sound like you might be in marketing! (Change the power point slide to make it more pleasing for the customer.) I lean to the engineers view of reporting the facts which is why marketing doesn't invite me to customer meetings anymore. ;-)

B: Fine, as long as I'm not required to wear a silly hat like Larry Storch.

Oh, I should say that it looks like accounting and corporate communications collaborated on the Casini map F troop layout. "Just make sure the type is big enough and all the sites are accounted for! "- B

This is the F (Troop) row last spring. I didn't use a tele lens but the angle makes it appear that all are close happy camper neighbors......even the 'white box' that snuck in...

Anyone know if Tim Shephard of TheVap is part of the NorCal group? Casini is in his neck of the woods. I have got a lot of airstream restoration tips from the podcasts in addition to the great knowledge of the air forum NorCal group. Best of both in one place?
