Oh no! Please fill me in. Did I get a bad site? Oh well, I like to like on the edge. Mr. Mod, not so much. But no worries, if there's a problem and he gets upset, I'll just play dumb.

Suzzeee! We are looking forward to see you guys too! After all, you and Allen will always be our first 'real life' Airstream friends!

On a sunny warm day it's has a nice shade tree. If it rains a LOT....bring a raft, kayak. But no fear, if it rains a lot there will be many rafts deployed. Wooden shoes might help.

Still waiting for Casini to call........

Nope...that's a different shirt.....simliar but old too. The 'cover' (Navy hat) is one of our son, Todd's. He calls it a 'tea cup'. The 'tea cup' that I'm wearing in the 1952 photo was mine. I don't remember how I got it but I wore it a lot. My nickname in school was 'sailor'. Perhaps an omen to my gene contribution later. Todd is beginning his 19th year as a corspman in the Navy. Some of you met him at Casini in 2010....the infamous rainy rally. Perhaps he being Navy or our Brit guests, Lili, Hans and Hans 2 (Tin Crumpet) may be responsible for that weather.

Curious how many in the group are members of thousand trails, encore, ELS, RPI, ROD or other group where we could hold a rally at a reduced rate?

I am a thousand trails member.

Olema Ranch sounds great. I loved that campground as a kid and we'd love to join a group of you guys there. We're going east the following week.

On the topic of rallies but off the topic of Casini, we're kind of thinking (Unless a family obligation rears it's head) of heading to San Luis Obispo or San Simeon in Jan or Feb, to escape some of the wet north coast. If any has any thoughts of good places to camp/inclinations to join us, pm me. Thanks

So... If all of the full hookup sites are taken, who (or what) are in sites 121 and 145? PLEASE say Jeff is just a little behind on finnishing the site map and those sites don't have square white boxes in them.

It doesn't appear that we will appear anywhere in Casini. Still no word from them. I sent my request in on Tuesday, they acknowledged it, I called on Wednesday and got voicemail and left message, Called again on Thursday with the same result. Sent an email late Thursday....nothing. I will not ask again. If they assign us a site, fine if not, Lynn and I will save a buncho moola........maybe buy something nice for the grandkids.

Olema is a spot where a lot of ocean kayakers stay!

You should start a rally thread independent of this thread , just to keep the confusion to a minimum.
I'ld go but we've already logged our 6 weeks per year in out drainpipe. It's crab season in a week also. So I'll be crab hunting for some time,

Jeff; Avatar pic-- where is it taken from.?? thanks in advance for your gracious reply to my second request!!! lol
