You are totally confused,brainwashed

[QUOTE=Mrs.Mod;1282510]Boy, am I glad to hear the weaker, less capable sex could handle such a job!

You have been led astray.Weaker-not,less capable-not.

Female snipers use the M24 Sniper Weapon System.

Female fighter pilots use F-16 and the like.

Danica holds her own on Nascar tracks.

Girls do pretty much everything boys do.

And I know of NO man who could be strong enough to have a child. That is a special strength only females have.

But then again , maybe you hang with the sissies.

Hi, Danika sucks. All the hype for a below average Nascar driver. crashed 9 out of 10 races and finishes in 30 something place, several laps down. Known for her many DNF's and green paint on the safety barriers. There are several other female race drivers much better than her; John Forces daughter for one.

If I ever have a daughter, I will teach her she is only as strong or weak as she wants to be. Girls need to know this. And for what you lack in physical strength, you can make up for in brains.
As I always tell my husband (with a bad back) 'use your brain, not your body'. We always get the job done, sometimes I just have to be a little more creative about it.

However, we don't have to be back to work until Thursday 4/18 so we may depart on Monday to camp at ?????. Anyone have suggestions where we should go camping for 2-3 days on our way back to LA LA land?
We like Wine Country RV Resort in Paso Robles. Half-way to LA LA Land. Dog friendly wineries in the area, including EOS Winery...a short walk out WCRV back gate and through the vineyard. Not really camping as it's very nice, but lots to do in the area.

Hey, anyone else arriving on the 11th? We can't wait, Scott, recovering from a bad cold insisted in cleaning the trailer with a toothbrush today (I am not kidding) in anticipation of the rally.

We are arriving on the 11th! We hope to be there by 3 pm. We're hustling as well to get 'The Mod Pod' spiffed up for the rally.

BTW, does anyone like playing Mexican train dominos?

Thumbs up Almost ready

We arrive on the 11th, now that I solved an unknown brake problem:

We are "backwards" from most of the rest of you with a toad behind the moho, resting on a dolly because nobody makes the right stuff for flat towing my ride.

Last weekend I was poking around, prepping the dolly, and decided to pull on the brake line from the master cylinder to the back & the wheels. WOW: the whole thing just came out of the chassis tube. The book says the assembler (the guy I bought it from) just had to push the quick coupling together before bolting up all the stuff, but I guess that was too much trouble, so I've been towing the dolly with the Insight with no brakes. The Bimmer is 1K# heavier than the Insight, so now I am glad to discover I have brakes. That will give me a break.

We have GF crackers for Friday, will add some cheese products, & looking forward to a relaxing weekend.

We have arrived..........in Bodega Bay (Westside Park) just down the road from Casini. We stay here until Thursday then Casini. Expecting Warbler5 tomorrow. Good weather all the way. A little windy at times but no big deal. I hear that the wind from the north will be strong an Monday and Tuesday. Partly sunny here in Bodega but a high fog in in now.

We are driving the Buick this time. This car is a dream to drive. The Olds will be also but I just had the hitch installed with only time for a 25 mile test tow. I'm sure it would/could make this trip but some small issues need to be addressed first to put our minds at ease.

Luminati Sighting in Film

Okay, you haven't heard from us in a few season (sorry) but it's not like we haven't been dragging the old aluminum vessel over hills and dales!

This short film was produced by Mark and our oldest son, Michael. It documents the quest for motorcycling thrills and spills at the Virginia City Grand Prix in Nevada. Of course, the primo sleeping accommodations were provided by the loose-riveted, not so shiny, Luminati! See if you can spot her!

Cheers! Karin and Mark

Kayaks at Casini??

Hi All, I don't stay up to date on all the posts, but am looking forward to this weekend. Karen and I are arriving on Thursday, departing Sunday.

Last year one of the highlights was the kayak trip down the river. We're planning on bringing our 2 little kayaks. Anyone else? Maybe this has been posted before but I can't bring myself to re-read everything.

See you all Thursday.

Don

Have a kayak (sister in law's) that I haven't used before but would like to learn, is this a good river to learn on?

I'm up for some dominos, but need a refresher on that too! Bocci ball, horseshoes, volleyball?

Some discussion earlier about bike riding, is this beach cruiser, road bike, or mountain (cyclocross) bike riding?

Too much to do in a weekend (and the days leading up to)!
