Jeff,

I had to check on that one since, even though I am not a senior at the moment, I will actually be one by rally time (by only a couple of days). But, I only confrmed that the discount only applies to Sunday through Wednesday.

"-"

Jeff

3 Nights for $147.00. That's right in line with almost all the parks we stay at.

Even the State campgrounds down here charge $35 for DRY camping.

Besides, we like it there. It's the cost of deisel to get us up there that hurts!

Hi, Glenritas aka Glen & Rita here, We just reserved site #124 for Friday & Saturday.

This will most likely be our first night out with our "new" to us '69 Trade Wind.

We just acquired it 9/22/12 and are in the process of renewing and updating it.

Our 3 Casitas from left to right Casita Grande AS, Casita 17, Poquito Casita.

Looking forward to meeting a great bunch of 'Streamers !

See ya in April

My online res. was confirmed this morning: 123 for Thursday to Monday. I didn't think to ask for a seŮor discount, but will call them & see if they will offer to credit a discount to my charge of $197, or 49.25 per night.

This is a bit pricey but, unlike many of you, I still have an RJ (real job) so I having a paycheck helps this rate. It also "helps" that I don't have the time to just hope in the moho & take off somewhere for a week or 2.

I just talked to Casini: Ric and Jean (Mowater) are in 124. TerraYacht in 123. It doesn't matter much to me, was just a matter of reservation timing.

@Glenritas: I noticed something VERY important missing from your Tradewind: it's a pretty long drag from Shasta and those round rubber things will help a lot!

what with the availability of sites not being a problem we will probably book closer to the date. Don't need a full hookup, may bring the pop up if the weathers nice. That would be above 85F. guess we're draggin the drainpipe!

GEE, Swiftey just had to play the diesel card.

too bad we can't find some kind of Max Yasgur place, that would be fun...

I asked about the senior discount thing to aid Neil. sunday - thursday is a "normal" kinda thing if offered.

GO GIANTS!!!

Just filled up the X5 at 4.19 cash at one local station, 4.29 at a few others. Currently cheaper than gasoline, & that's what the moho sucks out of the tank.

You know that it's gotten really bad when $4.19 sounds like a good deal. But that's about the best price down here as well.

We have an app on our phone that helps us find the best deals, GasBuddy.

My phone either came with, or the yellow pages app "yp" loaded itself, and gas & diesel prices are one of the front page menu choices. Diesel quality is all the same in California, but gasoline quality varies & I spend the little bit extra to get "top tier" in my four gas-powered vehicles.

Jeff, we are now in site #131, not #123, Casini gave us 123 first then moved it to #144 without letting us know. We have since confirmed we are in #131. Sorry for the confusion. Ric & Jean.
