I'm cool with pot LUCK, it might be good to know who is bringing a main/side/sweet? I'm cool too if it's an all-dessert potluck.

The beer I usually use has gluten.

I can substitute bourbon for beer if that's needed.

yeah, there are work-arounds like bourbon that imo frequently lead to a better end result!

I may or may not be bringing a green bean cassarole and pineapple sausage and wine to share for the potluck.

FYI, Vodka is gluten-free.

I ain't no girl....I am 75 and a few years ago, after 2 hip (axles?) replacements I replaced 2 axles on our Trade Wind. I did ask a neighbor to weld the shock absorber brackets to the axles before installation. Nope, I ain't no girl, but I am grateful for the one in my life.

Boy, am I glad to hear the weaker, less capable sex could handle such a job! When you meet my husband ask him who has more grease on their hands and dirt under their nails between the two of us.

DG,
Show this girl how easy it is and I'll give it a shot on my next TT. I'll assemble an audience for the special rally seminar on axle swap out at site #52.

Does having male parts help in switching axles? I don't think I used mine during the task, and I usually notice things like that .

Seriously, switching axles is actually one of the simpler jobs on the Airstream. You can even do it one axle at a time so that one never need get under a trailer on jack stands if that makes you feel funny.

We switched brakes from electric drums to hydraulic discs at the same time; that is a more involved procedure.

Jeff....I just called Casini to be certain that they and we are 'on the same page'. After a couple of confusing info she realized that she was consulting last years info. So...it is so....we are in 143, arriving 4/11, Thursday and departing 4/15, Monday (that 'may' be extended). We are pulling out from home here in Pleasant Valley to spend 4 nights at Westside Park, Bodega Bay.

Bart,
Too funny! We'll get the axles done after the rally. We've already got disc brakes.
In true Mod fashion, Mr. Mod is outside right now updating the power converter, replacing the battery boxes, replacing the kitchen faucet, fixing the trailer brakes (which became in-op during the last trip)....5 days before leaving on a trip. He mentioned doing the axles but I put a halt to that.
I'm wondering if I should do a mad dash and sew up the rest of the curtains for the bedroom....a good 'girl' job.
Tomorrow, I'll wash it again and when it's dry, I have a little more sealing to do at the front window. One leak still eludes me.

I can't wait! A few more days and we'll be sharing a cold drink with all of you fine people.

Neil,

Glad to hear that you will be with the main group and won't need your shrimp sent to you by special delivery. We will be arriving on Friday 4/12 and scheduled to depart on Tuesday 4/16. However, we don't have to be back to work until Thursday 4/18 so we may depart on Monday to camp at ?????. Anyone have suggestions where we should go camping for 2-3 days on our way back to LA LA land?

You are totally confused,brainwashed

[QUOTE=Mrs.Mod;1282510]Boy, am I glad to hear the weaker, less capable sex could handle such a job!

You have been led astray.Weaker-not,less capable-not.

Female snipers use the M24 Sniper Weapon System.

Female fighter pilots use F-16 and the like.

Danica holds her own on Nascar tracks.

Girls do pretty much everything boys do.

And I know of NO man who could be strong enough to have a child. That is a special strength only females have.

But then again , maybe you hang with the sissies.

Hi, Danika sucks. All the hype for a below average Nascar driver. crashed 9 out of 10 races and finishes in 30 something place, several laps down. Known for her many DNF's and green paint on the safety barriers. There are several other female race drivers much better than her; John Forces daughter for one.

If I ever have a daughter, I will teach her she is only as strong or weak as she wants to be. Girls need to know this. And for what you lack in physical strength, you can make up for in brains.
As I always tell my husband (with a bad back) 'use your brain, not your body'. We always get the job done, sometimes I just have to be a little more creative about it.

We like Wine Country RV Resort in Paso Robles. Half-way to LA LA Land. Dog friendly wineries in the area, including EOS Winery...a short walk out WCRV back gate and through the vineyard. Not really camping as it's very nice, but lots to do in the area.
