I leave today for Paso Robles, then tomorrow into Pismo. Hope to meet up with excella then I am driving back sans trailer. I am now officially starting my rally week! Oh boy! I hope your trailers are all prepped and ready to go. See you all down there.

We just got back from picking up the Airstream to bring home for cleaning and loading prior to leaving on Tuesday..........I can hardly wait!!!!!!! We are stopping off at Los Banos (Toscanos) on Wednesday, so we plan to stay at San Luis State Recreation Area on Tuesday night and (maybe) Wednesday night, then we will be arriving at PCV on Thursday.
Sooooooo....this is my check-in....maybe my last until arriving at PCV. Once there, I think there is free WiFi, and I will tease the rest of you from there
Let me tell you how AWESOME it was in Pismo last weekend! The weather was fantastic! Sunny with no fog and a little breeze. Blue, very blue sky and cool nights. Very relaxing there. It was extremely hard to stay only one night and was VERY jealous of excella getting to stay for 2 weeks. Excella has THE BEST site in the park. Wait til you see it. It's unbelieveable.
Our sites are great. My site is #59. They are big with room for 2 cars and a trailer. There is a nice grass strip behind the sites that will serve as a great common area. The bathroom is right there for us with a strong WIFI signal (free). The playground is also close. These are premium sites and WE ALL should thank excella for pulling his connections to get us these sites. We are going to have an aweswome rally, guaranteed! Thanks, excella!
I am jealous of those that will be arriving during the week. Dee and anybody else with WIFI, please check in and let us know how everything is.
The drive down was super fun as I stopped for a night at Lake San Antonio. It was great. Few people, had the loop to myself. Very beautiful Calif. oak country and pitch black at night. Definitely a future rally spot for us.

Hey all - just returned from a wonderful 6 weeks traveling through the US and Canada with the Bambi...and isn't this rally a perfect way to finish it all off! We're looking forward to it. Big Dee, put us down for bringing a dessert to the rally, either sour cream Bambi cake or whatever else I can stir myself to make....

Hey all! Mark And I are going to head down to the NorCal Rally on Thursday (pending work schedule) and hopefully stopping in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park before proceeding to Pismo.
It's going to be a very close call for me. I am making good progress, but my trailer is still far from being roadworthy. It still has no plumbing, no LP system, no bed, no doors for the cabinets etc. But the refrigerator works!
Yeah Uwe- if it will move on two wheels then you bettwer be there. I want to hear some Baja stories and see your labor of love. so get working all night!
And Tinsel- I have been kicking myself ever since Laguna Seca because I missed the tour of your rig. I am interested in all the mods you have done. Hope your offering tours again.
Michele & Zach- Been wondering where you've been. Now I know. 6 weeks is nice but I still win with 8 weeks to Maine and back. It's sure nice to look back on a big, succesful roadtrip, isn't it? We can swap stories around happy hour. And I am glad to see you are making that killer sour cream cake that you made at Casini. That was sooo good.
Karen- Enjoy Big Sur. Sounds real nice, a criuse down Hwy 1. Weather is perfect.

Really looking forward to getting up there. I should be pulling in before 2 pm Friday. Hope that is ok as I read on the PCV website that 4 pm is checkin time. Just dont want to hit any traffic.
Plus would like to see if I can catch a fish on the first day there before dinner. Anyways looking forward to meeting all of you and looking forward to a good time
Eat your hearts out, guys! There are at least 4 rigs here, as of Thursday evening...ours, Str8stream's, Excella's, and BigDee's. BigDee's rig looked kinda empty until about 30 minutes ago, when some folks arrived including a small Airstreamer (like, around 4 years of age?). We saw another Airstream cruise through, when we were admiring Excella's excellent view, but they must be parked in a different area....or, not a member of our group.
The weather here is absolutely perfect! If you don't find us at our trailer (we are in #68), we are probably down walking the beach!
Glad you got WiFi debugged and running.. I'll bring laptop and links to upload digital photo's again..
Condoluminum is washed and loaded, ready to roll tomorrow morning, after 14 hour return flight from Taiwan Weds afternoon... (I was invited to 5 day meeting but had to leave early to get to PCV...). After all the frame horror stories, I'm reluctant to load bike rack and bikes onto rear hitch receiver on our trailer, so we may just bring walking shoes and some books...
We could bring cooler and porta potty for Uwe, if needed, along with air mattress, cot frame and sleeping bags.... I agree, if it rolls, it must attend!
