Tim,
As you well know, you're always invited. We love you!
It's just that there's rarely time for polls or questions or threads when it comes to SoCal camping by the sea. Their reservation system is ridiculous. Either "right now" or "camp somewhere else". Besides, you would not want to tow 485 mls anyway now, would you?
Sorry to miss you and everyone else this time at the Lake.
btw. I just came back today from 4 days at Lake San Antonio, and it was wonderful! There's still plenty of water there to call it a Lake, and the deer are friendly as always!

Uwe,
Thanks for the report on Lake San Antonio, we are leaving Friday morning with friends to spend the weekend and do some wine tasting. Coming back on Monday.

Bill, keep in mind that the closest wine tasting is about 45 curvy and hilly minutes away from Lake San Antonio.
Which means you got to do the "tasting" part of wine tasting, not the "drinking" part.

Uwe,
I know, we have been going for the last few years. We plan on dropping by Kolarshooter's winery, however he will be in beautiful Kingsburg so we get to meet his wife instead.

Margaritas
Althought we do not drink margaritas, when I saw this, I immediately thought of the group.

hey
It even has sort of baby moons on the tires. Too funny!
And now I'm thinking of subscribing to this Make mag, or trying some projects. Seems like a great educational tool, and fun.

You can always visit the wineries and bring back lots of bottles to the Lake to share with your friends...

You're probably right Neil. But that margie trailer is even more rare than the Thing. Talk about a conversation piece, (or should I say an "ice breaker"?).

Aren't you allowed to pull a trailer behind your trailer in some states? Maybe a new location for next rally???

It looks like you could add a woodsplitter attachment pretty easy. We could be self sufficient.

You mean we're not already? But just in case. We need that.

Yep. Probably more work than it's worth, but fun to think about.

Of course it's worth it, especially if it can take you to Mars, or in your case, Margaritaville...

Sorry to miss the Rally. Looks like it will be a little more of a true Nor Cal Rally for you guys this time.

Sorry to hear so many from SoCal can't make the last weekend. A good suggestion by Clint and a good way to solve the voting controversy is that there be a "Cal Streamers" rally on the 3rd weekend somewhere around SoCal. Then everyone could go to one of the weekends. That's the problem with our group getting so big is that its impossible to choose a weekend thats good for everyone.
