So you're one THOSE!!! If one of those hairy creatures makes his way into my AS, I will be sure to be SEN-SI-TIVE and negotiate a deal with it to relocate to Camp Buttercup! I'll save my 4-inch heels for dancing the Tarantella then.....

Tarantula fact

Despite the great fear of them - tarantulas do not jump. So the odds of finding one wandering around in the trailer is small.

Spiders or no spiders, we're coming up for the air! It's been really nasty down here in San Diego, we just got back from our first evacuation! The experience was similiar to camping (we stayed in the trailer), without clean air, good friends and good food. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday.

Leslie

PS Im bringing my Sweet Potatoe casserole for potluck.

We are ready for you! Tincrew and all SoCal AS'ers who want a little fresh air. We are thinking about all of you and wish you the best.

Fuses are changed, fridge is dead (brand-new Dometic is not working), Tarantula is made 'n' ready for a char-broilin' . The weather up here in Petaluma is perfect and we're ready to Rrrrrollllll !!!

Mark has no jury-duty Thursday! DoorGunner recommended that Mark say, " I can tell a guilty man by jes by loookin' at his face!" Dang! It worked! jk

Full mOOn, so let the festivities begin!

It looks like we're not going to be able to escape for the weekend after all. Although I knew it was a possibility I kept thinking (saying, whining...) Just one night? Just a day? But no. Not realistic.
We know we're really missing out on great fun with a terrific group. And a violin Tarantella! And kayaking! And Zin! And sweet potato casserole! And...
Aargh.
Sorry and many thanks, Big Dee. Rally on! Hope to see you at Casini in the spring, if not sooner.

We're here!

The days are very warm, the evenings cool with a gorgeous full moon, lots of deer and a few tarantulas, although I'm sure there are many out there. So far there's just TinCrew and the Countess with us in the campground. Hurry up everyone and get here so the partying can begin.

The bad news...I'm still stuck in Riverside on business...smoky as hell down here. The good news...I'm headin' home tomorrow and we may make a desperate attempt at a late Friday night arrival. Keep the light on for us!

Spider is done. Won't send photos, as I prefer to build your expectations. That way, the disappointment will be that much greater. At the very least, it will burn.

Won't be departing here until about 5:00, but we're only about 100 miles away. See you all soon.

Spiders everywhere, and deer, and rain, and fog, and..

We're back, and what a great time we had! The rain last night was great (Jack said it was like sleeping in a pinball machine - ping, ping, pop, pow, ping), and the eerie fog this morning was a perfect way to end the rally and usher in Halloween week. It was great to see everyone and their beautiful trailers. We can't wait for the next one.

Steve, as always, your pictures are spooktacular! Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
