Yup, I would. But if no one else is interested no need for you to add your tools to your already overloaded wagon. I know where you live. I can catch a show there sometime.

Talking 3 Weeks to Go!

well its october 8th. can you believe it. my thoughts have definitely shifted down to LSA and my trailer. is everyone getting ready for a rally? i made the bed last weekend and except for a washin', the trailer's good to go. for those wondering where to stock up on groceries on the way down 101, soledad has a nice new supermarket. if you miss that one, there is another nice one at the next exit. both have easy on-off and are big, full service markets.

i hope someone is making a wood spider so we can have an official burning of the spider on saturday nite. our rally can hence forth be called "burning spider." oh i like it.

what about pot luck dishes? anyone else figured out what they are bringing?

Rally List
1. 1953 Flying- Robert, Angela;
2. airdrmr- Meredith, Jack, Drew and Taylor; Friday; corndogs and Chinese chicken salad

We just un-rallied after getting home from the Beverly Beach Rally. 2000 miles round trip. Got the inside cleaned and almost ready to go. Cleaned the carpets, washed the bedding and made the wine glasses sparkle. The exterior needs a good bath, but we'll do that just before the rally. Let's rally!

O.K. everyone, I'll again bring that Moshi japanese ice cream for the pot luck. Now that everyone knows what it is! I can't for the life of me remember whose child I caught stuffing those ice cream balls in their pocket thinking they would "keep " for later on!! kids
Rivet-o-rama scheduled for sat morning 10 am.
Also meeting with Paul of Michael+David Winery to confirm case of wine for tasting, I'll post more on this later!
Looks like another great time in the making. DG

Demo - you bet.

Don't know what we're bringing food-wise. We're not nearly that organized. Just got home from taking my friend to buy his first Airstream - a very nice '80 Excella. I think we've got him talked into attending as well.

Steven, are we going to caravan to the rally this year?
There was one other from PG (Lisa with a Bambi) that was hoping to attend also.

Big Dee,

Hello : ) I am the rookie gal who is fumbling around here. I just put a deposit down on our long-sought-after Airstream, and go to pick it up in your part of the state in just a few days.

Doorgunner pointed me in the dirsction of the San Antonio rally. I don't know if we can get it together in time (3 kids), but we'd love to try. Can you email me or can we talk on the phone about how thiis works. I'm LOW tech.

Thanks. This is very exciting for us! Woooo-Hooooo!

hello barbara,

you must come! there is no better way to celebrate your new airstream addition than an airstream rally. we would love to see it and there will be no shortage of good advice from this group. and its easy.

this is how it works: just pack your bedding, a little clothes, the kids and come to lake san antonio. no reservation needed. you can stop for food on the way. we will help you back-in, set up and anything else. then its fun time.

LSA is located off 101 between king city and paso robles. i dont know where granite bay is or i'd give you detailed directions.

hope to see you there.

Big D,
In which section of the campground will we stay? We may go early. Someone mentioned the site up on the hill. Its the area where last year several disgruntle campers called the cops on poor Doorgunner. Something to do with potatoes as I recall. Its all a blurrrrrrrr

Now you have done it! If you got kids and you told them about LSA you know they are all over you to make it happen. Lynn and I introduced our 4 year old granson to his first camping experience this summer and it is all he wants to do now. Of course you can come with just the basic needs. You will be taken care of with this group. What better place and people to be with with a 'new' Airstream. We will answer questions that you have not even thought of yet. If you have the time for an early journey travel with DG and us. We leave his place in Lodi Wednesday, 10/24, morning.

NorCal rally folk - help?

We've been invited and are excited to go. We are finally going to go buy the Airstream on Saturday. But reading the postings & emails is making me really nervous. Andy @ Inland RV suggests I check out the axles. How? Eeek. Over my head.

I'm greener than Kermit's tiny amphibious hiney.

Is there anyone in this group who feels qualified to inspect the '94 Excella with us on Sat.? We'll pay you for your time & travel. It is so valuable to us to take the ignorance & doubt away. Once we've bought it, we have all kinds of time to learn. But we sure need help right now before we hand over the 14K. If not you, Dear Reader, can you think of anyone you can call near Los Banos?
My email is bzasso@yahoo.com

Help -- please?
