Sign us up! We may even be in a new (old) trailer by then. Looking for a late-70's to early '80's 31 footer.

Big Dee, did Doorgunner ever explain to you that UAV stands for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle?

Steven

Trantula Fact: 8 closely grouped eyes; a large middle pair which are circular with 3 eyes on each side. They see EVERYTHING!

I want to know more about the tarantula dance!

I may take Karin up on the Trantual Dance, Jim hasn't been interested in taking ballroom dancing classes, this could be my big chance!

Leslie

yes the rent boats at LSA. the marina is a short 5 min drive away.

yes lets all do the trantula dance. but first some of that tequila...

mr cowboy,

it was decided that the rally will be a halloween theme with emphasis on big, hairy spiders and turkeys thrown in for good measure. isn't LSA the perfect spot for a halloween rally? and doorgunner is scary enough.

big

I think I missed your last Turkey Fun Fact Big D. Here is another one that probably most of you have heard...Did you know that if Benjamin Franklin had his way, the Wild Turkey would be our national symbol instead of the Bald Eagle?

The turkey, Franklin wrote, is “though a little vain and silly, a bird of courage [that] would not hesitate to attack a grenadier of the British guards, who should presume to invade his farmyard with a red coat on.”

I love it! Funny - I JUST liberated a 3 inch scorpion from my garage. She was quite upset! Scorpions and tarantulas are family, yust like you all are for us!

Leo G's face melted in the horrorflick and the poor overgrown Tarantula, with glowing red eyeballs, met its demise through a vicious, firey onslaught. I cheered. Sorry.
I must be going nuts! I'm quoting myself here...
Regardless, here goes... in the film Tarantula
Click on: http://outnow.ch/Media/Img/1955/Tarantula/

I swear that my first (and only) motion picture hearthrob was in this film; not the hairy beast! The bomber pilot, who nailed the big Tarantula, was none other than my hero, CLINT EASTWOOD! He gets no screen cred, but he still looks fine!
