Just one more thought...I'll likely bring my 4.75 y/o daughter with me..along with my 30 y/o (ha!) wife, so we'll likely want to be near the large grass play area. Nothing for the chilluns to do all day out there with us old farts...food for thought. Are we the only ones with a youngster?
Hope to see you all then!
Robert
We are excited to coming to our first rally! We are new to airstreams and camping with our trailer, so we will be soaking it all up. Of course, we'll also be towing our two kids, ages 4-1/2 and 6-1/2 along too.
That weekend works for us, and we're looking forward to a cooler weekend than Salem (or last weekend in San Jose area...). Looking forward to great get-together, and seeing other Nor-Cal ralliers (and So-Cal ralliers too!)
We'll stand by for food list for dinner, and Dianne will be bringing her own Margarita Ball and Pump, just in case the Str8streams have to stay home and put out a fire somewhere...

Hey John- Whew! I am glad you can make this one because it just wasn't the same at Casini without you and Dianne. I bet you were glad you had electrical at the International for that AC. Can't wait to hear about that trip. Margarita ball? You know how much I like Margs!
Do you have room for a So.Cal newbie? That is a beautifull area and we'd like to go too.
Welcome! Glad you can make it. Yes Lake San Anonio is so beautiful in October. I can't wait. Make sure to add yourself to the rally list on the rally calendar.

Glad you can make it! Our rally motto is: "There are never newbies to NorCal rallies, just old friends who haven't met yet." Can't wait to meet you old friend!
I have no idea how I missed this thread until today, and I hope it's not too late to join in.
We're down for it!
Hi Karin- So glad you finally chimed in. Super that you can make it. Looks like this one is going to be a big one. Casini was small so it will be nice to see everyone who couldn't make it. Now if a few more rally alumni would just chime in.
We haven't been to a NorCal rally before (It always amazes me everyone thinks of Central and South Central California as "northern".... I don't consider it north until physcially north of Redding! But then we live in Northern California! 20-25 miles to Oregon border.
Anyway, Here are my rally questions. I see by the explanation that there is a potluck on Saturday. We will bring something to share. Are the rest of the meals on our own, or do informal potlucks just sort of "happen" on the other nights/mornings? Should we plan on "potluck" for munchies around the campfire?
Would appreciate a little run down so I can decide what I should bring.
Thanks! Looking forward to the rally! Will be great to meet many of you and see your trailers!

Wow, I don't check into the forum for a few weeks and the next rally gets planned without me. I didn't have much of an opinion about the date anyway. I'm just glad we'll be getting together. I also got signed onto the calendar without actually doing anything. But y'all know you can count on me for the rally. This is going to be so fun.

Finally Cam! That's what happens when you don't check the forum for like 3 months. But glad to see your name on the list. I am already thinking of the patato casserole. Mmmmm...
