Thanks for a great rally, everyone. It was great meeting all of you and we look forward to seeing you again. As promised, here's a picture of the damage caused when we lost our wheel.

What a shame! I would love to have seen your trailer, nice to have met you as you pulled in - I was just leaving. Hope you can get the Argosy up and running soon.
Dave
This was my first rally and it won't be my last. I appreciate all the help I received when I locked myself out of my own trailer the first night! What a great collection of people - and of course don't forget the Airstreams. I learned, ate, drank and talked a lot this weekend and had a great time!!!
As usual, we had a great time. It was fun to see how many people showed up, including so many first timers. It's always tough to see it end. I new that I would be back to work today, so I drove home reeeaaal sloooowly, just trying to make it last. We stopped just north of Santa Barbara at a vista point and had lunch looking out at the ocean. If there can be a perfect ending to a trip, that was it.
Thanks to everyone for the good food, drink, and companionship. Steve, the photos really captured the feel of the weekend. We are already looking forward to the next one.

What a great rally! A group that large with so many unique personalities and still a common bond. Although it wasn't quite a "Star Wars Bar Room Scene", it was pretty close. And I don't care what anybody says...vintage and new people mix very well...almost like a good cocktail.
Slowolf, Thanks for the wonderful photos. Got to put a face on some of the people we have been on chat with. It's neat to view the happenings at the rally. Anne
Thankyou all for making another rally such a huge success. Enjoyed every minute. Sorry to anyone that I didn’t get enough time to meet personally. This being the Nor-Cal’s fifth and largest rally, I can’t say it enough, Thanks for the memories. Jeff, Kathy & Collin

Steven and Susan, I almost got ill when I saw the photo of your Argosy. I can only imagine how you must have felt. She looks like a real gem though. I was nice camping next to you and hope the raccoons cut you a break Sunday night! Hope to see you with the Minuet at the next rally.
That sure was a great rally...so many fun people and what an amazing collection of Airstreams. And the food Saturday night...wow!
A special thank you to all who rushed to the scene of the awning vs. oak incident with all your help, creative problem solving, tools, and support. Bam is resting comfortably at Sky River awaiting an awning tune up, hopefully no worse for the wear. (I'll keep you posted.)
It was a great rally! Glad to see your post you made it home and that Bam is resting... please keep us posted! We have looked at the few pics we took, and can't figure out how that tree up and walked so close to your Bambi! Please keep us posted! It looked like several others had their traumas for the weekend... glad everyone is okay!
Hope to see you at another rally! I will look for your thread on the next event!

Okay, Kim....I will bite! First, how did you lock yourself OUT....don't you need a key to lock it from the outside? Second, how did you get in, short of climbing through a window?
Those margarita balls musta been somethin' this rally Sorry I missed it, but we had just driven home (near Sacramento) from San Simeon Campground (south of Hearst Castle) on Wednesday!!!
I thought these were sort of neat, aside from all the other great pictures that were already posted.
The first one is of Ron taking a picture of the reflection of his 345 in my old Overlander.
Then, there's Milo and Lucy admiring a doe in front of their temporary domicile...
Thanks for a great rally, everyone. It was great meeting all of you and we look forward to seeing you again. As promised, here's a picture of the damage caused when we lost our wheel.

Steven and Susan- A red Argosy? Can't wait to see it when you get her running again. I must say you all had the best attitude after something like that, "carry on with the show". I mean still coming to the rally and enjoying the weekend would have been beyond many others (including me). Come to think of it, you should've won one of the door prizes for "Overcoming great tradegy to attend the rally" award. Anyway, hope to see you at the next rally.
