Condo, I'm relieved to hear you're OK, so sorry about the wheel blowout. I didn't realize until we watched The Long Long Long Trailer how much we all identify with the problems and challenges that come with even a newer rig, simply because of the fact that we're towing a house on wheels.
Hopefully my new window is in, if so I get it today!

Did not wake up to creaking noises caused by an aluminum shell warming up in the morning sun....must have been home. Time to sort through 2-3 cubic feet of mail and paperwork, after which it might be best to plan the next Rally...
Thanks to all for a really nice time. My head is still spinning from meeting everybody, and impressions are still sinking in.
I will post a few pictures later, time permitting.
I think I saw SLOWOLF in Templeton this afternoon stopped in town and then another A/S across the street from Taco Bell in Atascadero later in the day, I assume returning from the rally.
Hope everyone made it home safely. Sounds like a great time, sorry I couldn't be there for more of it. It was nice meeting you all!
Dave
You guessed right Dave. That was me in Templeton. Stopped on the way home to replenish the dwindling beverage supply!
Ron and I had a great time at our first Rally. We can't wait for the next. If anyone wants to meet up some place between Rallys (especially desert during winter), just let us know. We're always game. We learned a lot from all of you--thanks for sharing your knowlege and experience.
Don't take your guns to town boys, don't take your guns to town.
Jonnie Cash has a nice way of summing things up! Left this am at 0712 arrived in Lodi at 214 pm. 298 miles eyes are wobbling will post more after I sober up!!! Thanks to all--- I had a real good time. Tim AKA convict

P.S. I hear that Uwe hosted a wild party in his trailer Friday night with only a little wiggle room. We’re gonna crash it next time!
No reason for crashing - simply join in!
The party was in preparation for two seminars that we held the next day.
Seminar one:
How to install a Zipdee awning without spilling your Martini
Seminar two:
How to set and shave rivets without spilling your Margarita
Both important skills for the rallying Airstreamer....
How great. The NorCal Rally just happened and you're looking forward to next season. We are not so fortunate in New York State. Have fun. Regards, Anne

Hey, Uwe! You and Murray rock! You're both are a plethora of information AND know how to mix a good drink! Now that, is Airstream-worthy.
Re: party for 16: I was thinking.. in the future, if a trailer is open for visitors, they should post some sort of signal outside their trailer to let me others know that they are willing participants. Like a blinking neon martini sign? or a flag of some sort ???
Also, at past NorCal rallies we've offered AS touring for those willing. It's really fun to see what some have done to their treasured trailers (from glam to spam).
Can someone quickly come up with another rally before the weather turns? I'm having AS- post- rally- depression.
Here's a link to 90 photos (out of 153 total) I took at the rally. They display 30 at a time so click the link at the bottom of the thumbnail display to see the rest.

A police cruiser light bar, perhaps? Easy to get at any Donut shop parking lot.
Someone suggested a disco ball....
A 10 on the pics slowolf, I really like the big house on the top of the hill, ark ark. John & Dianne hope the tire thing works out. Did you see the thread today about Michelle rolling her rig gives me the jeepers. I did see a wild boar this morning as well as a coyote no camera just leaving the park. I could just go on about the wonderful folks I had the pleasure of meeting. The business meeting was unbearable tho!
