Jan and I are planning on showing up on Saturday sometime to spend the night. Would really like to come sooner but I have a business trip in Santa Cruz. We will bring the barby and make some shish-kabobs or something. Also, since we're from the area, we'll bring some locally crushed fruit.

We were at the San Antonio North Shore a couple weeks ago and it was beautiful. Water was still warm and we did a lot of kayaking. Bicycles were fun and we rode ours all over. Not very many big ski boats so the lake was pretty mellow. Perfectly delightful weather with high temps in 70's to low 80's and nightime temps in the 50's.

We had some rain today so all the dust buildup from the summer should be washed down. No ticks or other nasties, but the ticks have a tendency to show up after the first rain, so they may be active. The only problem was these microscopic non-biting nats that are so small they they can fit through the AS screens. The fanstastic fans were full of them in the morning.

We have two 95#yellow labs (Ben and Moose) that absolutely love swimming in the lake. We keep lots of cheap tennis balls around to keep them busy. It is absoutely their favorite thing to do to swim after tennis balls thrown in the lake.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting some new friends at our first AS rally.

I'll be sure to have my coffecup in hand. Hazelnut's a real Fav, but anything would be okay with me. The thought of lattes while out camping sounds so civilized. No roughing on this trip. See you there. We'll be arriving Wed. evening.

Doorgunner, I'll have the 1000 and Otters will have the 2000 and we'll both be holdin coffee cups.

Can we depend on you and the Spudmaster 3000 to stake out the campground for everyone?

yupwilc that- will someone help me out with the chat thing. I been trying to go there hoping other nor cal atendees might want to bs tonight and when I sign on the time seems to stop. Does the chat only work on tuesday nite?>??

DG - The chat room is always open, just went in and out. No one home....
