Badges . . . badges? We don't need no stinking badges. (Though I will admit that I am really bad with names.)

re:Badges, nametags,etc.
As far as 'cheesy" goes...I'm all for it! Nametags are great. They'll go well with my jewlel-colored aluminum tumblers, paper umbrella cocktail ornaments and plastic, Hawaiian swizzle sticks! Now, if I can just find the perfect MuuMuu...
I am suddenly inspired to do a cheez-whiz fondue-but let me decide on that. I'll let you know.
OK! I got a few pats on the back so here's what I'll do...I'll make some airstream-shaped name tags, bring a silver sharpie, and those of you who want to reveal your secret identity can do so, and those who don't, don't hafta.
All I really want, for myself, is to finally put faces with forum names. But you can put whatever you want to be called that day...forum name, real name, the year of your trailer... assumed identity, whatever silly nickname your spouse gave you...how many times you've posted on the forums...

Good idea Ingrid- maybe some of you 'youngsters' may not need 'em- but they'll work for those of us that are on the Centrum Aluminum (or is it Silver?) senior moment supplements. Rule of thumb: If you're older than your vintage tin- then you'll need one!

Glad to see you're bringing some tags... I also think the plan of having a paper copy to handout with Forum names and people names and trailer type (was that Roger or Cam???) was a great idea, if it could be done in advance, or someone brings an office with them... Any memory aids are a good plan...

That was Cam. He travels with a printer.

Don't be nervous....you can do it. I am sure that you will find plenty of help. Just hide the goodies, the sugar overload could kill an average person...wow...chocolate chip brownie cheesecake mini cupcakes...I can't even say it without a tooth ache.
Depending on the timing, a small caravan from OC may work.
Let us know your schedule. If we can we'll join your wagon train.
I propose I-5 N to Hwy 46W, which would take us right through Paso Robles and into the hills up to Lake Nacimiento and then Lake San Antonio. Alternatively, more scenic 101N to 46W will work also, but it takes an extra hour or so for OC people.
Following the rally, we would like to continue on with stops in/near Santa Barbara and LA. We'd like to revisit Santa Barbara for a day and then visit the new Getty Museum before heading back to the SF Bay Area.
If anyone else is interested in that little trip, please let us know. We could make arrangements and final plans at the rally.

The 101 is prettier but I live 500 yards from I-5 so either way is fine by me.
