Be sure you apply (free) for a Jackson Rancheria discount card. Discounts on the restaurant and GAS at their service station. Don't fill up before getting the card. There is free 'plays' in the casino too with it.

ok, we're bringing an assortment of Tillamook cheese, w/crackers of coarse, for Friday eve (Vinnie loved that at Casini when we were there during Lili's, H&H's visit)... yeah, and wine... local stuff, Columbia Crest, nice...
Saturday potluck will be an avcado/mango/black bean salad with a sweet poppyseed dressing... prolly (that's Lili speak for those who don't know) more cheese and what ever else we'll think of along the way... Ok, we're driving down the coast then over to Marysville to visit with friends before the rally... Jeff, thx for the info and map!!! as always, a great job!!! Oh, and we'll try the bocce ball ..neither of us has ever played...that'll make it fun!!!.. gail and don

Thanks for this link Jeff: our instincts in passing on this rally proved right: an ill cat here at home needs hand feeding every hour or two, so we will be syringing tasty cat food to Sammy as needed. My favorite flavor (this is not an order, but a flavor) is duck and pea.

Hi, Neil. How and where do we get these discount cards? Do we only need to get one, or do I need one, Lee Lee needs one, and one more for Boo-Boo?

Hey TerraYacht - we are bringing our sick cat with us and will have to do his nightly Sub-Q treatments (an IV bag, hose and a needle). Actually, we'll have 3 cats with us

Becky and I are currently in Vancouver WA. The original plan was a slow trek south along the coast until we got back to L.A. With the prodicted severe storms in the Pacific North West a change in plans may be in order.

Is there an open spot at the rally for us and our dog Heidi?

Bob, obviously the Rancheria's "Dreamcatcher's" member card is a ploy for you to spend more money there. But we do not gamble but love to 'save' money on the things we are going to buy anyway. Gas is a savings of 10 cents a gallon. I think you get coupon or two for a meal at their restaurant. Also if you have great self control to stop after playing the "free plays" in the casino you may have more money to spend at the gas station.

Here is the link to where you can pick up your card.....oh, yeah it also entitles you to 'free' mailers announcing their promotions.

You can try calling the park directly also as several others have done.
They landed their own sites during the rally to be able to attend!

I called them just after I made the post and they had a cancelation, so we have a site. When I asked if the site was close to the rally, Eryinn said the rally has booked most of the campground so everyone will be close to the rally. I asked for a site number but she said it wouldn't be assigned until later. We will arrive on Friday and leave on Monday. Glad we could get in, see all of you there!
