Darn. I was hoping to get a screen shot from the Jackson cam of all the Airstreams at the rally.

Don't tell me you started the party without us and knocked the cam pole over. ;-)
I guess it is down. However those here now are under the camera so you won't see us. Fogmonkey is out in 34, probably will see them.

You know why your not seeing Jackson? Quite simple really, like any major league event, it's blacked out due to empty seats!
By Friday it will be full and they will transmit feed of the park rather than the school yard your seeing now!

It was that fun day visiting potential rally sites that lead to DG's eventual discovery of a brand new RV park....Jackson Rancheria. Ginny, we hope to see you at ths years potluck. To Jim....God speed.

Good words, Neil.
We'll miss seeing everyone, but we'll especially miss a toast to Jim. He was such a sweetheart--with a great wry smile--and one of the good guys taken way too soon.
Love to you all, and hugs for Ginny.

Hi, we are hitched and packed. Leaving in the morning and will probably get there about the same time as Vinnie. We figure about 7 or 8 hours to get there. Today we got some more rain; My trailer and I got soaked. I was outside working on my hitch, using my Galaxie's receiver for a holding fixture, and about half way through, the rain came. Also Boo-Boo [Dusty] wanted to be pretty for his first Rally, so he took a bath today.

Thanks,

Don,
Go up Hwy-88 to Jackson - down the hill into Jackson itself - following the Hwy-88 sign, turn LEFT and head EAST on Hwy-88 - You'll find the Dalton Rd on the LEFT just a few miles from Jackson - there's a signal controlled LH turn lane - Then it's just about 1/4 mile up to the RV Park - lots of signs to direct you...

Stay to the RIGHT as you approach the office and pull into the 'dump' lane, where their personnel will hook up a 'slinky' and dump your black tank - they don't want any unfriendly chemicals entering their sewer system when you're parked...They will give you a bottle of their approved black tank deodorizer to use while parked...

See you there...

Ray

I think if you take Ridge Road as you come in toward Jackson from the west it will take you to Dalton Road, behind the Rancheria.
Right now its maybe, no, maybe, yes, a yes, no, maybe, probably, oops the weather Tuesday is canceling paving and concrete pours back a day or two, a maybe that we can head over the hill to Jackson on Friday. I think it's snowing in Reno tonight, was snowing here a bit a few hours ago but I'm sure the road will be clear before we see it Friday.
The Dragon came back from Pack Saddle pass ahead of the snow (it went deer hunting without me, how fun is that?) and getting a good snow wash-off of the playa dust.

I 'greeted' a gent with an Excella thinking he was with our group. No he is here for the next rally next week of the Santa Clara Unit. He just arrived from Montana (his rig had Montana plates) via HWY88 from Nevada. He said the road over was, "Quite sloppy," with snow. I 'hear' that the weather will be much better for you folks coming over by Friday.

GOOOOOOD.....MOOOORRNING.....Streamers

Yes, indeed a good morning. A quick look out our front window is evidence of that. No, really it is a beautiful looking day here. A gentle rain fell overnght but we are cozy in our shiny hut. I just returned from a walk with Lizzy around the walk around the park. I feel good and looking forward to seeing and greeting Thursdays arrivals.

Gas tank is going back into the motorhome this afternoon - should be ready to go by Friday. Kimber will drive down with the cats and I'll arrive Saturday afternoon.

Just watched a gent move his MOHO from Mexray's site into Coastalview's. Seems like a lot of work for one night.
