40 something "units" and only 2 want to engage in bocce.
Neil; wet grass only slows the balls, nothing magical.
I hope it pours, like buckets of rain, then there will be an excuse for staying inside watching some sluffy television.
I'll be outside chanting for more rain in between my "rolling of the balls"
I hope there are no drainage issues on the court altho a few puddles could add to the fun

You probably wont have to chant DG.. The extreme sprinkler cycle at the park will take care of the wet grass / ball rolling issue.

Welcome Wagon
How nice,
Thanks. Will let you know when I do.
That welcome wagon isn't the noisy thing with the big smelly hose is it?? ;-)
BTW: Is there a rally schedule anywhere? Do people swap parts, etc? Have a stove and other things needing a good home. Will bring if that's permitted.

Hey Ron;
the schedule is the pot luck and the weakly expected turnout for Bocce Ball.
this group is not to be confused with the "red number" crowd that plot out your life for the entire weekend.
friday evenings usually have a spur of the moment social event at whomever's site. adult beverages and pupu's recommended.
Saturday is the roam around aimlessly, check out other folks "units" and more socialising. and a weakly expected Bocce Ball tournament. The evening has the much anticipated , award winning FEED BAG!!!! glorious.
Saturday nite I host a campfire where folks share stories, lie about stuff, etc
bring whatever you want, slap a price tag on it, whatever, no rules, Just don't have your site looking like Fred and Lamonts.
so it's the Greeks playing the Italians for all the marbles @ bocce

Potluck addtions!
Hi,
We are getting ready for the rally, and really hope that the weather forcast changes for next week. today is supposed to be 90 there, how can it be raining by next week?? I will be bringing an Orzo Salad, and if womeone can loan me an oven, I will do a fabulous baked brie!! We can't seem to get our pilot light lit...(or you can look at our pilot light!) and I can always bring southwest Airlines peanuts if you all havn't flown enough lately!
We will join in Bocce Ball!! (unless it interferes with the cocktail hour!!) We are excited to see everyone and we are glad that our new friends that we met camping at Lawsons Landing (Pam and Richard) will be joining us!
See you all in a week!

I'm Easy to Spot
Here's a photo of my updated '66 dual axle. Rear (queen) bed, and I've installed tons of extra seating. Got tired of polishing, so painted her red.
See you there!

Ron, try attaching the photo from the "go advanced" tab on the bottom of the thread and use the little paper clip icon in the tool bar to attach the photo
