Robert;
I have a big trailer so I'll fit right in. what's the problem with these folks not allowing small pi$$ ant trailers like yours? who ever heard of such a thing, probably the same yahoos that want fiberglass mohos with those ugly red numbers.
on another note, you should try sugar pine point. it's pretty nice. looking forward to pounding down a few cold ones with you next month.
maybe you should organize a small trailer rally....

DG,
I should have known better to be a little more specific with you. What I should of said was, a vintage trailer rally of all size's and shapes. We won't go into detail about your shape.. Our little trailer does us just fine thank you very much with no red letters for that matter.
Sugar pine point, I've heard it's nice. Maybe next season we'll try to make it there. Pounding down some coldies is always a good time. Till then have a good Labor day weekend. We're off to Bodega Bay, Wrights Beach- I don't think your behemoth of a trailer will fit there.

I've seen DG's trailer twice in Sugar Pine. I haven't seen him actually park it. Even though SP has plenty of adequate sites for large rigs DG's appears to have been assembled into it's tight site.

The Club House is all washed up! Had a mile of dust on it from all the plowing and farm stuff. Will hit it again in Oct and add a layer o' wax. Have spent so many days in the hammock on my summer vacation, got 21 more to go then back to it.
I like your new avatar Neil!

I pulled into a parking slip at the local In n Out the same time as this CHP patrol car. When I got out I got a closer look at the patrol car and noticed that it was a 1967 Dodge Coronet. 2 officers in uniform got out so I HAD to ask about the car. It is an actual fully working CHP car ordered in 1967 with the new then 440 V8 with 4 barrel carb. The officers explain that the car is used mostly for PR at different events but that day, as sometimes is the case, there weren't enough current cars available. I asked that it must feel good to drive that Dodge. They both agreed, it's fast, the old sounding siren and lights work, but the older officer, he was younger than the car, complained that although it's fun to drive it doesn't have AC. The younger officer looked at his partner with surprise then commented to him, "Just roll down the windows!"

I plugged it in and it's cooling down quickly. We'll see how it does on a 100 degree day.
maybe I should start a thread describing the process.

I was inspired by your solution to insulate your fridge. I pulled back the panelings that 'sandwich' my fridge but no the 1/4 ply (if that) is flush to the sides of the fridge. The fridge has thin foil on it's sides but that's all. I opened the small exterior door and blew and vacuumed around the bottom of the fridge. Just a little dust is all. I reversed the shop vac and blew up the vent up the back of it. Didn't see any debris come out the roof vent but none blew back at me either. I'll next remove the roof vent cover a look down it although all indications are that it's 'free'. I don't know if a fan in there will do that much good.

Check in-check out info
OK rally attendee’s,
Only a month away from another fantastic rally at Jackson!
Some of you are familiar with Jackson Rancheria’s check in policy regarding your holding tanks. Don’t be alarmed with their request to empty them for you upon arrival.
Check in;
All of us have individual reservations under our own names, forum name and site number. Just provide them at the check in desk with any of this info.
Check out;
None, just leave by 11:00AM on your day of check out!
Any issues, concerns, change of minds, chickening out, change in rally preference or changing of a flat tire…… Let me know!
I believe everyone has my cell number? If you don't contact me
Would someone start a potluck list?
See ya all there!
Thanks

Jeff;
Nice work!!
when's easter weekend? I don't have a calendar available.
matter of fact I don't have a lot of stuff available.
I'm out of beer and now my doctor has BANISHED liguor, beer, etc, all that stuff from my menu.
I'm not good with that,
and too boot, basically-- if it tastes good, spit it out.

Gosh, DG
My med has told me the same thing. Something about too many heartbeats and not at all regular. I just got the heart internally stunned and now things will get better, but I still have to be on heavy meds and take things easy. However, I can eat shrimp, only need to have someone peel them for me.
Take care you guys.
Ken

Yeah, I gotta 'watch it' too. Even though I don't drink much wine and beer now I will 'save' myself for the rally. Not 72 any more.
Neil
I'm ok with SHRIMP though....

Vinnie probaly doesn't have room for the grill, since he bought the new truck with the work bed. I guess he'll have to make Meat Loaf...
