Ken,

That Tanqueray Rangpur Gin is reallllly smoooooth stuff! We love our G & T's - got to keep our immunity up for malaria, don't you know! Don't know what effect it has on west Nile, but one can't be too cautious...

I like to keep a jug in the freezer, so the Gin pours like syrup over the ice cubes...yummy!

problem with that approach is that the syrup doesn't flow thru my IV tube. Then again I could always pressurize the bag, oh heck maybe my body will be in such need it will create a vacuum and just suck the bag dry.then I'ld have to worry about air in my system, hum,. then I'ld have to modify my walker to acomodate all the apparatus, then I'ld probably need some permits and so forth, where's my Bud-lite?

Huh?

DG...well, nuthin' like bringing the conversation to a screeching halt! Are you telling us that you are on "full-hook-ups" and that "boon-docking" is out of the question? Where there's a will there's a way, I always say; Sippy cup, funnel, etc.

You'e a ZiN-ful man anyway. Me, I go both ways; Gin and Tonic with a squeeze of lime or Seven Deadly Zinfandel. Come to think of it, I've never turned down a good Vodka concoction either!

BTW-Mark likes his Barley Pop but won't turn down anything either!

Cheers! Let's make the most of it!

Karin

PS I'd like to try the Tanqueray Rampur. Cam brought some Hendrick's last time...it's a tad expensive, but oh-so-good!

Ok, I did the recertify thingy. Hope they only charge me once this year, looks like last year my card paid $50 twice to the Rancheria. Or is that the going price per day?

what's the recertify thing? they charged you twice, you think? why bring it up now? It's 25 bucks a nite with the group.same as last year, much more if you make your own ressie.

There you have it

Well I see the rsvp page is closed, actually if anyone else wants to join us you can PM me . At 10 am tomorrow the list will be turned over to JRRV.

Debra are you gonna make it??

anyway with 29 trailers showing up I will be giving 4 sites back to JRRV. This means that if you are in a site closest to the pool area YOU WILL BE MOVED only a site or two closer to the Alumalounge (site 40).

I will be posting the final sites some time this weekend.
This is where I earn my money

I'm feeling a lot better tonite, got my butt kicked on the American River today. Capsize king for a day..

I'm trying to get the smilie guys to alternate or something different, seems all 3 are in unison, software glitch or something.

P.S. Neil nice new avata looks like a Pontiac commercial. wide track my big wide trace, but wait it's a Buick.. omg

Tim is owed our eternal gratitude for taking on this job of organizing reservations. It's not a fun job and I sure did not volunteer to do it. Because of his efforts, we are going to rally in an awesome place. So .....

Thank You Tim!

What a great list of people. I can not wait to see everyone!

Who's Up For Tofu?

Is it too early to start a potluck list?

Tofu? Spam? Salmon? Spamon?

No seriously.

We'll start!

Funky cheese and Silver Oak cabernet and Kendall Jackson chardonnay served up in paper cups for Friday's Happy Hour(s).

Grilled achiote chicken with mango salsa for Saturday's potluck.

Oh my-- this sounds delightful !!

I'm guessing you're just doing the legs/thighs thing, cause it's a potluck.
will white rice be served on the side? just a pinch of garlic or full blown stinky?
Did you pick the annatto seeds on a trip down south?
I'll be first in line for this dish, and mango salsa to boot.

are you setting a theme for the potluck? like Mexican Fiesta??

huh, are ya, huh , huh ???

I was gonna bring the bonfire over to Alumalounge like last year.

Mexican? Heck No!

Heck no!

We were hoping to have some deep fried turkey and beating out Dan for a turkey wing, but we guess that's out since Alumanutz isn't coming. Possibly no Spam, since Geezernbabe aren't coming-but there's still hope for something Spamalicious with Neil and Lynn. We're looking forward to John and Diane's big green salad and Vinnie's shrimp (we missed it last time when we arrived late).

Gosh, if it were up to us and not our cardiologist, we'd have some sort of deep fried theme going on (with a side of salad).

Oh, and we'll bring some chicken breasts for achiote chicken-but really, it has a tendency to dry out, it'll be there though if anyone wants it. Tofu perhaps? We bet if tofu were deep fried it would extra delicious!
