Quote from Mom
Hi, Mom said, "Don't worry about anything before it happens." I'm not going to get ulcers from something happening a year from now. Space # 21 or space # 86 I'm OK with that; Doesn't matter to me since I haven't actually seen any of them yet and we haven't bitten any of our neighbors yet either.
Thanks DG

I just re read that wonderful, warm and fuzzy response to my wife from DG. You can have my spot. Wherever it is. Say hi to Lee for me. Ron

Yes you have a spot, but it may not be exactly the one you requested. If you want to bitch about it stay away, far away from me.
Did any one have a problem with the rally a few weeks ago?
I busted my a$$ to get everyone together on the last one.
What is it you people are missing??This is not the other 2 places , I give a rats a$$ about them.
Lets see the cancellations

Easy now.
They were just offering some reasonable ideas and suggestions.
If you don't want to take them, don't.
No need to insult our friends.
I go to rallies to get away from the daily drama and just have some fun.
This seems awfully stressful and we haven't even started yet.
I think I'll let you guys work this one out and catch you at another rally.
Have fun.

Tim, let's stay calm and cool about this: given that you posted the announcement of no sites guaranteed, I was merely trying to offer an idea or suggestion, however small or big and meaningful, that's all. We can all go with the flow as need be without losing sight of our eventual goal of having a good time.

They lost it too.
DG, I know setting up a Rally is very stressful.
You're reaction to Paula and Debbie's questions were out of charactor and impolite at best. You need to address that.
See you around the campfire.

Okay kids, Tim's getting a little (a LOT?) stressed. I'm leaving his post, just because I'd have to delete about 20 subsequent posts to make it all go away.
Give him a little time to get his blood pressure back out of the ozone, and I'm sure he'll make nice again.

Tim,'s outburst is understandable, NOT excusable. He worked VERY hard to organize our just completed Rancheria rally. It was very sucessful and I give much of the credit for that success to him as most of us have. The little that I know about Tim is mostly good. He is a good person and certainly is 'there' to help anyone who needs help. Very unselfish. Perhaps to a fault to where maybe we take his efforts for granted. He is a Marine. I know that can sound 'old' to some of you but his heart is big but his armor may be rough. I was surprised that he began organizing this next rally before the last had ended. He saw early that we may not be able to reserve our wonderful venue for next year unless he acted immediately, not for himself but for us. Some of us volunteered to share in the planning but Tim needs to 'do it his way'. That's fine but it can be too much for just one. Tim, I'm sure, can handle it but I for one am ready to help where he needs. He needs to know when and how to ask.
Neil.

Gosh- it's a beautiful day and we all have good and bad ones. I am getting very fond of my friends in this group and getting to know everyone. DG is the greatest. He freakin' re-wired my trailer with Jeff at one Rally. To know him is to love him and he is entitled to tantrums. You should see me after chaparoning the homecoming Dance. Is spanking teenagers legal? I do events and know how stressful things become. And hey it's not just about this... could be other things too!. Can't wait to see you all again. Moving-on...

NorCal Rally Oct 2-4, 2009 Or Bust!
Dan,
Happy New Year back your way. Elle & I are going to Jackson with another RV couple the Jan 17/18 weekend -- our 4th visit -- for a "Rancho fix". Was told the '09 rates have increased & the pool house is currently being remodeled. Will get back to the group after our visit.

New year eve rancheria
We spent New Years Eve and the day before at the Jackson Rancheria. All spaces were full. Since we were the lone Airstream they placed us in the place of honor so that all the sob's could view us as the checked in or out.

Well, I guess that answers my question......Business IS good. Jim, Ginny, is staying at JR worth the very short drive from your home? Or was it because it was New Years ANY driving was unwise? Good for you guys!
Neil.
