I called Casini and got site 132. I asked the nice lady if any reservations have been made for that weekend. She said only one has been made...by Vinny!

SO everyone please call Casini ASAP for reservations before a SOB gets in between our group!!!

(800) 451-8400. She is expecting your call today.

Excuse me! Every mouse on the planet knows that cheese needs to be at room temperature! Plus, those nasty bugs and flies would've wreaked havoc on those morsels of creaminess.

Also, did you know that Sue and Linda Lu spent a lot of time and expertise slicing and presenting those cheeses? Yes, they didn't just plop them on a paper plate with a plastic knife!
The Alumalounge rocks! Thanks for opening up to all!

Hi All,

Well were unloaded, unpacked, cleaned up and back to the old grind! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Just wanted to let everyone know how great our first rally was. We had a good time with a fun and friendly group of people. Although we did not get to meet everyone we hope to next time around.

Thank you Janet and Janets Husband for lettin' us tag along and showing us "rally virgins" the ropes

See y'all real soon.

Dan,

We're so sorry you didn't get to sample the cheese. We sent off a block of honey comb just because we know how much you enjoy it.

Hopefully you got to enjoy TWO deep fried turkey wings since Gemma wasn't around to wrestle you for one!

No worries-we'll bring some more funky, pretentious cheese to Cassini in April, and may even come knocking on your trailer door with a personal platter for you to enjoy.

Cassini in April-spring will be in the air and so will the scent of a few ripe cheeses!

Until then . . .

Happy and safe journeys,

Of course I was kidding as how could I really be upset at the Alumalounge host. Never! But man was I disappointed to miss the cheese because I almost went to Oakland to get it. haha And I wish I didn't go to the buffet on Friday but stayed with the cheese. I will learn frm my mistakes next year.

Neil,

Thank you for your kind words. Our old wooden boat will soon be back on the water and our bank balance will, correspondingly, be even lower. We'll post images when she's back in her historic berth at Fisherman's Wharf.

We're sorry we weren't able to enjoy everyone's company and the beautiful scenery.

We're so appreciative of your and Wppii's images-they're the next best things to being there.

Thanks again,

Ahhh Murray, you are too nice to me. Alas, there was no fried turkey this time so I missed that as well. Believe me, I am looking forward to wrestling the next turkey wing from Gemma. I am pretty big guy so I like my chances. hahaha

And you know I am looking forward to April and your special cheese. I never knew cheese could be so damn good until you introduced me to the Cowgirl Creemery! And don't get me started on that honey comb stuff. OMG!

You guys were definitely missed. Hope all is well with the boat. You know I am already looking forward to Casini and your goodies! Be well and prosper.

Vinny- You had to bring up another sore topic. Yes the damn shrimp was gone before I could get over there to get some. There was a feeding frenzy to make a shark proud when those babies were put out. I am making my battle plans for Casini. I will not be denied again...
