As we were going up a slight hill with a cut in the hill at the top I thought I noticed a light flash from the top of the hill, kinda like a mirror or reflection off a scope.I'm pretty vigilant ya know, so we crest the hill and on the down side just in view looks like a big accident, judging by the flashing lights and such. I slowed it way down and noticed "lights" more than a few in the rear view. Getting closer I see it's a road block and there ain't no one in front of me. LL has this look of OMG in her eyes and I'm thinking "this isn't gonna be good"
So stopping about 50 yards in front of the road block I hear the guy with the bull horn telling us to get out of the burb with our hands in the air in plain view. LL is not happy as she's looking down the barrels of about 10 drawn rifles. " I'm thinking this is gonna be fun"
Let me tell you about the "homeland security" guys. Well the don't admire folks driving around with missiles on the roof.
6 hours of interrogation, a complete search of the burb and the trailer. and me pleading my case and finally we got set free.some trip ending.
What a great camping trip.
See everyone on the Russian River.

OMG! Tim! You really topped yourself this time!

Mark wants to know if you got to keep the rocket?

What do you mean, never again?

Doorgunner, that's a story to aspire to!

10" duct pipe, red white and blue paint, rocket ribbon..............$65
Rent for a weekend rally at JRRV.........................................$100
Getting stopped and interrogated by Homeland Security.....6 hours

The look on Linda Lu's face..................not going to hazard a guess

Great time at Jackson Rancheria.

Hi, We had a great time at the rally with new and old friends. We are still on the road; We are now in Winnemucka, Nevada and will be on the road again tomorrow. I thought I would post a few more rally pictures, but they won't post again.

DG - tell me you made every last bit of that up! I mean, really. The very second you see it is just a painted piece of duct work with nothing inside and streamers coming out the bottom for crying out loud! Who would ever think that was a rocket?

Hey all, Just checking in to say thank you all for coming.
We all bring such diversity to a rally that makes it so successful. So thank yourselves.
Big Dee has already posted a thread for the annual Casini Ranch rally in April:
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...1-a-57149.html
Get your own reservations in early to secure our central location within the full hookup area. Of course anywhere is fine to for those that want a little more solitude
See ya at the next rally
Happy streamin'
Jeff

I just have to say that whoever (Sue?) sequestered Yhotti's cheese away in the Alumalounge is on my sh** list. I did not get one taste of that special stuff. Didn't even know the cheese made it to the rally until Neil told me the NEXT day. *&%#@(*&#$@&!%#

Next time the cheese stays outside...

Funny how the rally keeps going after most have gone. Just MexRay and us still here at JRRV. We are loading and packing now. We should just toss everything into the coach and slam the door. 39 miles to home and everything comes out! We'll sign up at Casini when we get home. ...'slide I see is the first to secure a spot. Does he know that the first signee has to......
