Mini Rally
Neil,
It looks like you and Robert had an impromptu mini rally.
Wouldn't it be great if we could all rally at Kirk Creek?!
We're really looking forward to seeing the Buick's new paint job.
See you soon.
Your friends,

Yeah, you knew Lynn and I were! We were volunteers at the Concours at Pebble Beach. I wanted to give you a jingle but didn't have a number. Lynn and I even took a top down ride out in Carmel Valley after we parked and browsed the main street in Carmel. The last piccy is where we 'camped' in our daughter's inlaws in Carmel..

Neil, I've been so busy the past several weeks that the Auto week around here was blur!
I dropped by your daughter in laws last year and just realized that you were to be there again this year!
Dag nab it, and a drive out Carmel Valley Road to boot!

Kirk Creek
It was some surprise after driving for 6 hrs to get here and the first person I see was Neil and Lynn. I was like wow... What are the chance of this happening? A very small campground and very hard place to make reservations to boot. It was good seeing them, I only wish we could of hung out a little longer. Neil, you were gone early the next morning.
Sorry Jeff, I always forget you live in that area. Maybe be next time we can coordinate some thing.
Yhottys, Great place for a rally I do agree. Just so tuff to get into the spot. Maybe a few of can make it happen. This has to be one of my favorite beach spots by far.
Ok, enough hi jacking of this thread.
Tim, your bringing a white box to Jackson. Please don't say its true. On the other hand if you must you must. Even if you are supporting the other brand we'll still like you.

Linda Lu and I just returned from 14 days at Lake Tahoe- Sugar Pine Point. We kayaked a lot, hiked one day and burned firewood like we stole it.Also went to a air show at the small airport there, lotsa Marine choppers.
We managed to see Bob Dylan outside at the south shore , he was ok, BUT last sunday afternoon we saw Monte Montgomery on the beach at Tahoe City. Rated one of the alltime top 50 guitar players by rolling stone. What a show, this guy rocks and his bass player may be the best ever.
One big black bear rambled thru a few times, he didn't want to mess with me.I looked at him cross eyed and he went away.
Nice shots at kirk creek!!
The white box is working out great. almost unlimited storage area's. We're unloading today. and shopping for a ipod nano and jbl portable speaker system.
looking forward to seeing everyone @ JRRV soon.

Pierce Arrow Travelodge.
I posted these on another thread but I know some of you don't regularly visit them soooo my friends these are for you. Lynn and I were 'volunteers' at the recent Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Among the many exhibits were these two early 1930s Pierce Arrow Travelodges. The first 6 photos are of the one that hasn't been fully restored. I was able to stick my arm and camera in the open door for a few piccys. The remaining piccys are of the fully restored Travelodge. We were permitted to go inside and I got some piccys of the fine cabinet work. The tow vehicles with these trailers are also Pierce Arrows. Their towing capabilities are from the V12 engines.

Where's the Sat dome, the flat screen TV's, the CD Stereo player...I guess those 1930's rigs didn't have many 'options'...
They sure knew how to 'roll' in style!
I guess today, you'd need a Maybach towing an AS custom limited to get close to that Pierce Arrow combo...

Nice pictures Neil.. Love the last trailer pictured.. what a beauty!
Ray, We had a Maybach roll in last week. I performed a QC on the car after the repairs.. Once rolling at freeway speeds you cant hear outside noise. The car is like driving a video game isolated from the outside world. Amazing..

Hey Hatfield; maybe you should reread post #159.
My picture posting capabilities no longer exist, my $20 ranout to participate.fixed income kinda thing.
the white box is white, blinding in the sunshine. maybe I'll put some graphics on the side, well the left side anyway.
I'm just looking for a small drinking village with a kayaking problem.

He Tim, send me a picture of the white box by email. Without graphics it will look like the photo I just posted below.
