wow, Neil: Robert nailed it: I feel like I was almost there instead of down in the Bay Area. The phots really captured the feel of the rally & all the friends and food, and drink, and food...

We had planned a birthday get-away for Andrea when we were too late to get Jackson booked but had to cancel: one old kitty, Sam, had some "issues" and we had to start him on insulin and monitor him carefully. We told him he needs to get stabilized by next April or he's going to ride up with us & we'll have Venus straighten him out.

Keep the shiny side up..
C&A
P.S. YHottys: there's a real nice goat milk brie at Trader Joe's, a new favorite orf ours. Try it.

Another Great Event!

With Thanks to Doorgunner and Jeff and Vinnie and Dan and Neil... (and others..)

Had a great time.. Too short.. Had another "interesting" drive home, in rain and slick sudsy standing water on Hwy 99... Apparently 6 1/2 tons going downhill on wet oily pavement do need more room to stop... No harm no fouls, but several folks put themselves at risk be swerving on front of us and then slowing down....

A couple additional pictures of bonfire at Tim & Nancy's and of the long zig-zag line of diners on the lawn....

Thanks for a nice weekend

Thank you for your hospitality to us newcomers to the west in the S.O.B. It was nice to meet so many nice people. We had a really nice time at the potluck. The potluck food is definitely different than the southeast. It was great to sample such a variety. I'm finding people in the west upscale the recipes much more than we do in the SE.

Again, thanks!
Anne

last year the weathercam pointed in the direction of the dog path, guess folks got tired of watching that crap.
So if the dates for casini are etched in stone guess I'll call this afternoon and get a premier site. seeing as we're responsible for our own actions at that place. guess that's why they have a armed guard on patrol in the middle of the day.

DG, I'm sure the dates for Casini will be correct.
Are you planning on stuffing your 32' into the site you had this year?

LOL, I just edited my post about the pencil.
I was thinking... even though we make our own reservations at Casini I could still do a layout map of who and where we are

EASTER SUNDAY is the 24th. not that it matters to me.
Jeff, I don't "stuff" anything anywhere, including my drainpipe. My life is one of total symmetry, everything carefully placed and adjusted to insure complete calm and happiness.

I think I used the word "stuff" when you were describing on how you place your trailer next to the house, along the fence while negotiating the posts for the awning overhead!
You must have perfect symmetry

Home

Lynn and I left JRRV a little after noon. The sob's were getting too close. Ken and Shawna were packing up the last of their 'stuff'. We had a long 45 mile drive and got home before we were done packing up our 'stuff' . I got an email from the gent who organized the Auburn Vintage Trailer show that Lynn and I attended last month. He is putting together the plans for next years. A couple three of you commented that you would have liked to have known about it sooner and maybe would have been able to attend. I'll keep you vintage (trailers...not you) folks in the loop.
Begining with Jeff....thanks for the hard work, it was a great 'event'. I noticed that some unsung and most likely unappointed Streamers did a clean up of the potluck site in the time afta the feast and the bonfire. Whatta great bunch you all are.
Neil
