Neil, congratulations to you and Lynn!
Regarding your story..... your cheating?
Let's just say I inherited three teenage boys some years back that are producers

Bad to worse!

OK - so you all know that I had to basically rip out the back end of Airtini to fix a leak in the shower area and replace the damaged plastic walls. Well, I also took on replacing the water heater tank - about a quarter of the cost to replace the whole unit.
Well, I left the door open this morning so that I could get the inside cooling down a little. THAT WAS A MISTAKE! I now have a squirrel inside who refuses to come out. Every time I go inside, he darts behind the dashboard in a space I will not be able to extract him.
I am now in the process of trying to get him out and/or trap him. I set up a small trail of food leading from the drivers side floor, down a 6 foot piece of wood ramp and out towards the door. Hopefully he will be able to make his way down the ramp where I also have a cage trap set up to catch him on his way out.

But all of this fun has stopped my ability to just finish the job(s).

Hey Vinnie - what about putting a piece of PVC against your tongue jack for a flag holder??

12' telescoping painter poles work for me. Mine slip comfortably into 1 1/2'' EMT. Check my post #14 in this thread.

Water heater is now in - the squirrel????? I have no idea, I took the glove box off to peek under the dash and the squirrel is nowhere to be found.

OK - water heater is all plumbed in and I set the trap for the squirrel. Don't worry, It is a capture trap. If I get the little bugger, after telling how I did not approve of him or her in our motorhome, I will set it free.....

Reminds me of a story.. my brother in law used to park his moving truck (huge international harvester) at my parents ranch. It was my job to start the thing up once a month.. and when you are 13 thats an honor! Once I opened the door and found a mouse and it ran past me.. I told my Dad about it and he just laughed.. such to say, not my problem...

When the truck was finally picked up apparently.. how the story goes anyways.. a large rat ran up his leg and across the seat bottom back and forth making noises.. needless to say he almost wrecked the truck on the highway.. ditched it and bailed out the door

Cant say as I wouldnt have the same reaction...

So remember.. Its just a squirrel.. just incase..

<QUOTE>= I will set it free.....</QUOTE>

We had a opossum in our house, could not reach because it lived in the eave area of the roof. We got it with a capture trap and chinese food. Took it to Hillsborough where it would find a higher class of house to invade. Never saw it again.

Of course this is bad news since there is no higher living lifestyle than an Airstream so you are stuck. Naturally we will all like to see your new pet at the rally.
