Great picture Neil.

Glad you were part of that. Love the vintage trailer thing. Is Gary Moffett the same Gary that used to own Santa Rosa RV for something like 30 years? I recognize the name from out my way...

Gary MOFFAT. He owns the Carpe Vino restaurant in Old Town Auburn. Nice place....we all met there on Saturday eve for 'refreshments'.

BTW... I have invited a friend and his wife to possibly spend a nite or two up at JRRV.. I have never actually met Chuck and his wife but he is on the other forum I frequent (the diesel stop) which is for Ford truck enthuiasts. Chuck has the same year and model ford dually as I and has been sooo helpful for me to keep that thing on the road and towing the stream. I think they secretly want an airstream. They have SOB and want to downsize.. They are parking elsewhere in the park if it all works out.. Its not a 100% but told them we would welcome them to see the other side of camping....if interested..

Not 'the other side of camping'....THE SIDE of camping. I bet his wife will want an Airstream. From the comments from the ladies 'touring' our Trade Wind last weekend it is as much of a chick magnet as our red convertible!

whats the difference between a chick magnet and a dork magnet?

if ya need a mechanical device to lure a lady you got bigger problems than a land mine protecting your campsite.

Hi folks,
As you have probably heard I won't be making it to Jackson this time. I was really looking forward to meeting more forum oddballs and getting some visiting in. Our group from burningman is getting together in Coos Bay the weekend before Jackson and I had to commit to them. They have seafood, and lots of it. Don't even try to tempt me with stories of Vinnies shrimp BBQ. I already love it, but these folks bring clams in big burlap sacks and throw them right on the fire, and T_U_N_A! sashimi and grilled, wrapped in bacon, mmmmmmmm. And salmon, maybe even some abalone(sigh).
I'm practicing stretching my stomach so I can really do some damage there.
I'll be catching up with some of you again at Casini next year, or in between here and there. Have a great time!
I'm really gonna miss you, Gemma and Murray. You guys are Phreaking Great! I had a crawfish flashback the other night. It made my tongue stand at attention!

HEY, VINNIE; I ran across a thread that you are looking for a flag pole holder. Did you get one? Gonna fly that SHRIMP flag that I gave to you. I guess Mexray and I will need to unfurl all our banners to you!

Hi Neil,

I really wanted to. I emailed robandzoe and sent him a private message weeks ago and he never responded. Strange?

So the answer is no.. no flag pole holder for Vinnie
