Tool demonstration by the Jackson Kitchen Store?
I just got a call from Travis at the Jackson Kitchen store, he wants to know if he's still on in having his kitchen tool demonstration. Since I'm stuck up here paving asphalt all weekend, I don't think I should say yeay or nay. Noonish, Saturday, on the potluck tables? Someone call Travis at 209-481-6799 or 209-223-0264. Thanks

I wanted to see the demonstration for sure.
Needing a few more top notch Foreschner steel/ Victorinox knives.

Nice turnout for the demo. Travis and Emily did an excellent job of presenting their interesting kitchen ware.

Holey cow, lookit the turn out! Thanks so much to whoever called Travis to come on up!
832 ton asphalt paved today on Taxiway A, 1000 ton tomorrow, 1000 next day. No undercoated or damaged planes, (had a surprise plane come through the work area yesterday), great weather.

Back home again after a really enjoyable weekend, and we just want to thank everyone for such a great time. We feel lucky to have found such a fun and diverse community, and look forward to hanging out at the next campout!
Special thanks to Jeff for pulling things together, you make it look easy but I know it is anything but!

What a wonderful weekend!
I heartily echo Globie64's thanks - to Jeff, to Doorgunner and Nancy for hosting the bestest firepit, to Neil and Lyn for the sweet welcome (literally and figuratively), heck, to everyone for making it all work. What a great group.

We had a fabulous time at the Rally as well! It was awesome to meet so many amazing fellow Airstreamers and to get to tour such a wide variety of Airstreams! We're usually the only one or sometimes one of two Airstreams wherever we go so this was a huge treat for us! We're signing up for Casini as well!! Thanks to everyone who helped put this great event on...we really appreciated being a part of it! (Susana and Allen)

Looking forward to Casini, and next year at Jackson!

Trying not to sound like a broken record, but...
We also had a blast! I was finally able to connect a few faces, names and rigs, which was great. The food was over the top and so was the company. Thanks to all for making it such a special time, but especially Jeff for all his hard work. Looking forward to Casini!
(I'll get started on that newsletter real soon...)

Hi everyone!
Thanks for coming to another successful rally due to all of your attendance!
My only responsibility is to verify that each of us is accounted for at check in, the rest is what we make of it.
Based on the number of attendee’s, nights stayed and my own free time this year I had approximately 36 minutes to talk with each of you.
Some of you were in groups so you received shared minutes, I call that the family plan
If you were anticipating more, signup to be my assistant
Many have asked about upcoming rallies I thought I’d chime in on them.
I’m preparing to start a thread for the spring rally held in April at Casini Ranch.
A few of you have stated you have already made reservations! Geez were anxious This is a self serve reservation & payment rally through Casini’s web site.
Most of you know that I’ve signed another contract with Jackson Rancheria for 2013. I generally start with 35 sites and 100 nights.
Based on feedback from this year’s attendee’s, I’ll be modifying it this week to 45 sites and 120 nights!
I'll start with those wishing to return to the site they held this year.
Also I will work with those wishing to relocate if there is a cancellation and you want to relocate to that particular site prior to it being filled by someone on the standby list.
I’ll be posting a rally thread for next year’s Jackson rally too as I’m closing out my account for this year's rally.
Don't worry, I tend to post links to redirect you to the next rally from here.
Thanks, your wagon master!

Just a few left here on Monday night. Most of those are leaving Tuesday morning including us, FreshAir. I haven't yet posted my usual number of piccys other than those of the Kitchen Store presentation on Saturday. We visited the store on Sunday and it looked like a mini rally with all the Airstream ralliers there shopping also. After I get home I will post more piccys of the rally as the wifi here is very slow.

Hitched up again...
Tuesday morning and we are ready for our arduous 45 mile journey home. Life is good....if not sometimes tough.

HUGE Thanks to Jeff as well!
Back home, finished a couple more rounds of "work" and found a break to download and upload pictures.. Had the usual great time, and felt bad about missing some conversations, but it is just a great time to be with so many interesting people and their interesting Airstreams and relate on such a special level... The people with white boxes and even fancy diesel pusher motorhome busses just don't know what they're missing...
Logging all the reservations in and out and amended and cancelled and relocated is a LOT Of work, and thanks to Jeff for being willing to volunteer and do it.. Keeping a sense of humor and perspective and working with the staff at Jackson Rancheria RV office is also critical, and under-appreciated...
Photos of Vinnie spending gloomy Friday on the roof of Cam's trailer converting the roof sprinkler back into a water-tight skylight, and of the central lineup early Saturday morning after spirited cocktail party and reception... Next year the laptop stays at home!

As with everyone else, Becky and I want to thank Jeff for all the hard work he did to pull off yet another fantastic rally.
We had an uneventful 400 mile trip back home to L.A. Monday with an early Tuesday morning trip to Washington D.C. So I am in my hotel room getting ready for 2 days of meetings. Then I fly back home Thursday night to get ready for the SoCal Fall Rally in Kernville on Friday thru Monday. Guess we just can't get in enough rallying in only one weekend. Looking forward to seeing the other rally animals who are attending both events!
Safe travels,

Yes, indeed, Jeff....you managed to make another EXCELLENT rally happen! Thanks for all your hard work!!!! It was sooooo sad to leave today....only Sunshine was left. The SOB's quickly invaded "our space" when folks stated leaving on Sunday, but the memories of all the fun we had and hanging out with the few Airstreamers that were left made it okay! This morning, Safari-Rick and ROBERTSUNRUS got out by 8:00am, both having a long travel day; T-Square, FreshAir, and Warbler5/TinEarPaul departed between 9:30-10:00am. See you all at Casini!!!!!!

Are you ready for PICTURES....?
The wifi at Jackson RV wasn't kind to me with posting pictures so if you good folks are still around I shall begin posting the tonight and tomorrow. I selected what was my best efforts and to save time I shall present them pretty much in the order that I took them.
