Still no word, I will update when I know something. My neighbor is invloved in the investigation and is rightfully silent. However, his wife, because I know Bill, did tell me a little but I know that I should be silent also.

Here is the latest 'no news'. I just asked my neighbor, the fire chiefs wife. I asked if anything has progressed with the search. 'Not much. The searchers are fairly certain of where Bill's body may be but the sonar wasn't successfull as there are some large boulders at the bottom of that deep part of the lake. Divers found the visability very poor'. She said that 'they may bring in some professional deep water divers next week. They would have more sophisticated equipment'. I asked why wouldn't his body have risen on it's own? She said it could be 'entangled in the rocks and Bill had very little if any body fat also'. I asked if she has heard of any possibility of foul play. 'Nothing strong suggests anything but Bills body may hold an answer.....and the water is very cold at that location so that may be an investigative advantage'. I told her that I had several friends of Bill online asking if I knew anything that I could pass along. She says that she will have Lloyd (the Chief) call me with whatever he can add. I commented that I find it a little odd that the media hasn't pressed for more information. 'they are asking and as far as she knows from her husband there won't be much to ad until his body is located.

Yup, we were.
Nancy and I were in Lodi this weekend visiting out favorite wineries and took an alternate drive home.
Thru Isleton, lets see now what's there beside NO police?
HMMMM. oh I remember,
Sue Tipps place. we found it!!
No signs up yet, but like I mentioned we "got" access thru a partially opened roll up garage door. What a hoot.
Sue and Leo were amazed to see us and not some local drunks, lol.
After checkin out the boat trailer and a tour of the property Sue and Leo opened up the "Lubrication" Bar at the old parts counter.I drank all the Tsing Tao they had and a friend of theirs showed up with some home made wine that was some of the best stuff Nancy has consumed. It all disappeared, nice.
So we had a fun day, I'm waiting for the opening day celebration.

Haha that was pretty funny watching DG and Nancy duck and roll under the door! It was a fun afternoon!! We are located on the Main st as you come down off the levee road into town. It's the Isleton Speedshop. We will be out there for the crawdad/Cajun festival on fathers day weekend so if you find yourselves out that way please stop by! I should have the 47 Curtis wright clipper out there ready to restore!

well, you can pull us off the standby list. We got a better offer that weekend. However, we will be in the area, so we may just stop by for some free potluck food!!!

Vin - the engine in he motorhome purrs like a kitten!! I think that pump has been going for a while - or the fan was out of balance enough to finally take out the pump. Either way - new pump, new thermostatic fan, new thermostat - it is quiet!!! However...I do have a minor oil leak that will require me to pull the engine...... Hey, it's only been a year almost and I am ready to put that front grill back on.
