Yup, John....I have 'campfire stories' that I've not told yet. Life is good. It was great to see you and Dianne again. I've decided not to chide you anymore on when you will retire. You are obviously luv'n every working day....and Dianne is probably dreading the days that you are home for good. HEY, fly over our house sometime and do that wing wiggle for us.

Wow...great pics Neil.
I loved how you changed your flags daily! And thank Lynn for her "Welcome Wagon" gifts of kisses.

Some pics of the weekend.

Okay, we're in rally withdrawal. The Globie has been in our driveway for two days because they've been doing work at the RV parking area, and we are both itching to take it somewhere, anywhere, for a few days. At least I can go sit in it in the driveway and do my work.

We are too Globie! Last weekend was our last planned outing for the year and Steylla is up at Avalon getting a new Marmoleum floor and I'm already trying to figure out where we could go for the weekend when she gets out of "rehab"! We're already signed up for Casini tho !!

Well, you are all welcome to come to the SoCal rally at the Rivernook CG in Kernville this weekend. I heard there were still some full hookup sites and maybe some sites on the riverfront that are available. We would love to see you folks come down and deal with the dreaded 'rally withdrawals' together!

Fantastic Weekend

We would like to thank you all for your wonderful hospitality this past weekend on our first trip out of Southern California. The initial greeting from Niel and Jeff made us feel particularly welcome. We appreciated the interest in our 1949 Trailwind and the opportunity to show off our little trailer.

The potluck was fantastic with so many choices and so much food. You Norcal Streamers sure know how to have a good time. This was the largest rally we'd been to; there's nothing like seeing all of the Airstreams lined up.

Our chance to visit was limited because some of our NorCal family and friends stopped by but everyone we met from the group was so nice. We hope to make the trek next year and are glad to hear the number of spaces is increasing by ten. Imagine the potluck next year.

Tom & Patti

Well...sadly, we can't make it to the Rally next weekend...flooring won't be done in time ... but...Trex ...since you posted that nice beer pic...I think my hubby might be very interested in that option Now, if I can figure out how to get out of cooking the annual dinner... we may just show up!!

Hi everybody, just keeping you all informed as to the up coming rallies!

I've made a request to Casini Ranch if their willing to offer our group any discount or incentives to continue holding our annual spring rally at there facility. This coming spring will mark our 9th rally here. Likely there will be no offer given as they only offer discounts to groups in the group area that are not full hookups.

I have a group contract for Jackson 2013. I posted earlier that I'm amending the contract from 35 sites to 45. I haven't received the ammended contract but no worries as 2013 marks our 6th annual rally here and were their favorite group!
I have many of you accounted for in the same sites with requested nights for 2013. Some have even paid in advance and I have that accounted for too, just finishing my master spreadsheet for the 2013 rally.

If anyone is keeping track, we have had 17 successful rallies!

More info to be provided... stay tuned

TRex,

With the grand-kids coming from Philadelphia for thanksgiving there is no way Becky will be going anywhere over that holiday. So... Have a couple of beers for me and have fun. See you both at Casini or somewhere else sooner.

Scott--did you see #17 getting swept under the golden gate the other nite?? a setback for sure.Jimmy will be back at the helm before we know it!
$300 to get my ax repaired! bridge and solid top also needs repair, yikes. New Aria AC-30's cost $1500.
NOW for the rest of you.

it's $52 a night at Casini, I have twice the enjoyment for less than half the cost at JRRV!!!
AND at JRRV I'm on Soverign ground, NOT in California.
Twice a year @ JRRV works for me.
How's that for stirrin the pot???
