sure glad roger and roxie are making the long drive north to join us again. roger tells good stories about cararallies in mexico. i sooo want to go. someday...
The next weekend after Jackson, we are going to the Kernville gettogether. One of the benefits of living in the middle of the state.
As far as Mexico, I recently blogged about our trip 3 weeks ago.
It will be fun to see some of our 'northern' friends at Jackson.

Hey! What do you think gasoline/Diesel prices will be in Oct. '08 ? Right now (in Petaluma,Ca), our diesel fuel is $4.45 per gallon. Regular is at $3.91.
How far is everyone traveling to the Jackson Rancheria Rally, CA. We'll be traveling approximately 270 miles, roundtrip.
Too bad I don't like to gamble...we could start a pool. Bets anyone?
I say diesel will hit $5.26 per gallon.
Well Karin, we will be driving 398 miles round trip or $157.00 worth of diesel at today's diesel price. By October it will be an easy $190.00 worth because it will be $5.72 a gallon by then. To think when we first bought our trailer in 2002, we pulled it at .17 cents a mile for fuel, and currently its .39 cents

It will be just over 400mi round trip for us. However we can average 13-14mpg with the trailer, if I behave. Unfortunately we take diesel. I just filled up at 4.45/gal.

my trip is 252 miles roundtrip. at $4.10 a gallon for regular unleaded by then, it will cost me $94. it is $4 for every 11 miles. ouch.

According to Google Maps - 386 miles each way from Santa Barbara - or 772 roundtrip - Yikes!!
But with our 16 Bambi and the Explorer - or "Explode-er" as DG likes to call it - our MPG is a little better than some of you bigger rigs. We'll try to keep it under 60 if we can - we did that with Casini.
Just goes to show you how much fun we had at our first rally at Casini!
