So DG, your feeling like being a diplomatic official of the highest rank like Mexray and I by bringing your Ambassador?

Diplomatic Official???
Jeff you gotta be kidding me.
diplomacy? lol I'm a lock and load kinda guy.
You guys will never get the answer.
Well maybe but you would need to make more assumptions and read more threads here on the forums to even get a glimmer of hope.
And couple that with my confusing posts,, well you get it.

So wine and cheese at my place thursday nite. Bring a bottle and a slab of cheese, maybe some crackers or whatever, All I'm providing is a warm fire to socialize by.
Don't forget a lawn chair and some camping stories.

We're heading out in a westerly direction, having just left Jackson Center (and my credit card) and this is the second rally site that is sold out a month in advance. We had kind of thought we'd stop by if we were in the area. Is it common that good camping sites are booked this far in advance? I'd hate to have to begin planning....

i was thinking of escaping a day earlier then planned and arrive on thursday as well. my thinking is that the park won't be full during the week so i was going to call the park and make a 1 day reservation for thursday. probably will have to move to a new site on friday though. that's fine with me.

hi pat,

bummer! this is the first time we will rally at this park. it is brand new and super luxurious and subsequently has become super popular. hence why it is sold out on the weekends. we usually rally at parks that can accommodate last minute arrivals. but this time we are seeing how the "other half" camps. haha

Latest Update

O.K. folks

WE have sites 19 thru 32 and 36 thru 46. nice.

The site assignment will be given you upon check in. This has a lot to do with your trailer length. And your day of arrival.

Then there are the 2 reserved spots for the founding fathers - BigDee and Coastalview.

And my 2 reserved sites, and let's not forget Ford Country!!

So that's how it is peoples!! I think this will be a grand event.

Those that wish to show up early, just show up,there will be enough room for early arrivals.

Anyone need anything else, just PM me and I'll see what I can do. I'll be there wed and I have NO computer after that.

I would also prefer to have the dance thing friday nite.

So there you have it, we got the dirt we were hoping for!!

DG

I would like to contribute to the Sat. brunch. The problem is that my trailer doesn't have a sink, stove, oven, fridge or bathroom( sounds pretty nice so far, Huh?) I can bring a propane cooker and make deep fried turkey (about 22 lbs) or a large pot of Jambaylia with home made sausage and chicken. Please let me know. See yall in a few weeks.

Behind the scenes

I've been in touch with Sue Tipp,Tipster.

AS she has the drinking trailer- lounge car- electrical nightmare trailer and it's support trailer; she has agreed to take sites 28 and 40.

This is about a central location as one can expect!!

The map is on one of the early posts to this thread.

I've taken on this appointing of a few sites in an effort to have a little organization to this shindig.

Turkey sound great to me. Opens up a lot of support dishes!!
I like a guy who has BIG PROPANE DEVISES!! I've had turkey this way- man o man, locked in moist and tender.
