Stolichnaya...the Coca-Cola of Russia!

[/B].[/I]

Since I'm bringing a handle of Stoli, I will try to 'splain to you!

First, please to watch YouTube:

YouTube - Stolichnaya A Russian Icon

The word "handle" is a terminology coined by our current youth to describe a large quantity of alcohol in a container with a handle. Costco happens to be my one-stop shopping place for my handle of affordable Stolichinaya Russian Vodka (1.75 L) and my much preferred Tanqueray Gin. I know there are better brands, however, I think bargain shopping in these trying times must be a priority!

Now, I'm reconsidering purchasing the Stoli brand because of the current Russia/Georgia situation. My parents were routed out of their homeland (Transylvania)in 1944 by the Russian Red Army, so I feel a degree of allegiance to the victims of the apparent resurgence of the Red Scourge. Nothing against the Russian people...just a slap at the 'ol KGB fox, Vlad Putin! Take that, comrad!

Ignorance would be bliss...unfortunately I'm just a hair above ignorance.

See you at Jackson. Let's all howl at the full moon.

karin

Looks like it going to be a great rally. Sadly, Linda and I will be in Australia (without the Airstream) and wont be coming up, but hope to see you NorCal folks another time soon.

Condoluminum "Confirm"

Sigh.. This job thing is really interfering with Forums and Airstream and other forms of recreation... All the toys are dusty and un-exercised...

Anyway, with all the new income, I will commit to pay for a spot in hard cash DG.. We will be off the web for a while, circling around through Arizona and planning to travel over Carson Pass on 88 from the East to get there, but expect to be in mid-afternoon Friday...

ok...if we are bringing surprise guests then add another space next to me...I will hopefully be bringing ,my trailer partner (Leo)with our new/old Avalair. It's a cross breed "they say" of an Avion and an Airstream. It's shiny and square and is our next Lounge project. Soooo if we get it finished we will have two Taverns on site...I am hoping everything will be working on both as DG needs a non-working vacation. I can also bring a drum and whistle... with enough drinks I'll try the percussion section!
See you all there. I gotta get busy!
Sue
