Obviously the arrival of the 'Britmobile has arrived and the ongoing greeting to Hans, Lili and Hans2. The visiting and greeting of all Friday arrivees continues up into the wine social in the evening.

Oh good! I see some motorhomes there...fantastic! Last time I was the only one in a "stream" of trailers. Great pictures Neil.
I'll be heading out there in an hour or so with a buddy of mine. I have alot of stuff to do for my girlfriend's birthday tomorrow, so the earlier I get out there, the better for me.
Neil, she's a hygienist and lucky for you she had to work today. But I'm bringing my dremel, mallet, and chisel!

My buddy Ron and I had a great time talking to all of you, especially the gearheads in the group. I was tempted to stay overnight but with the furnace not working and the toilet leaking, I couldn't. But next year I will!

GOOOOOD MORNING Casini. The day after the most wonderfull pot event EEEEVER, has begun with the weather 'Gods' promise of rain. We are (Lynn, our daughter, Tiffany, grandson, Nate(Happy Camper) and I are dry and crowded in FreshAir. Son and son inlaw plus grandson, Ian are in tents outside. As the family is now stirring I put my hearing aids on and am immediately made aware of the steady rain falling on aluminum. Hopefully my efforts to seal leaks pay off. The 'outdoor' family members are now crowding in here. No more need for the heater.

As before the pictures I post are in order and unedited. There are many but it may take delays in posting as we react to the weather. The pot luck yesterday was threatened with rain but the 'God's' love Airstreamers and held the rain off. Thank you,

It's a little after 10 am on Sunday and raining cats & Dogs. We are in the end site 148 and the water is quickly filling our site. No worries, had breakfast at Cape Fear and back inside dry and warm. Gonna ride it out all night.

Come again another day.

Rich, the Viking, is hanging out with me and it's pouring! We think we also saw/heard hail coming down.

We saw Stan and Robert and his family pull out and and Toddster is gone. We can see Big Dee, Coastalview, Fresh Air and Airslide from our windows-looks like they're sticking it out.

We'll stay tuned for additional weather updates.

Daughter and family have traded for a smaller, by not much, confinement of their van. Mom and dad are working folk unlike Lynn and I and needed to head home. Son Todd will stay with us until we leave either Monday or Tuesday. FreshAir is sloooowly becoming 'beachfront property'. A new lake, Lake Casini we shall call it. So far one leak is slowly filling a soup bowl....oh some just replaced it with a salad bowl.

So my piccy collection continues. More to follow.

Well, just a hardy few of us are left at Casini after another successful rally and potluck!!! It was nice to get together with long-time friends and meet new ones, as well. As already stated, it has been pouring rain all morning....but, we are huddled inside our silver cocoon for the day, watching folks pack and up and head out!

See you all at Jackson Rancheria in October....if not before!

Lili, Hans and Hans x 2, the adventuresome 'guests', (See thread ' The Journey) made very heartfelt "Thanks" speeches at the end, the buffet table was EMPTY, of the feast. Vinnie tried to deflected the praise for makng the Leatherbys moho roadworthy with a 'speech' of how the Airstream community came together to assist the Leatherbys in making their American purchase of the Airstream moho and solving problems with transfering said moho across to England.

Still more to come.

The rain continues and as I view out our window I see the Leatherbys about to pull out. Safe journey to you folks. I'm sure we haven't heard the last from them but hope to see them again. We have new 'extended' friends.

The first photo shows the new lake forming where sites 141 and 142 are/were. Then the last of my piccys of the potluck. I finish with the images of my family hunkering down in our coach. The tents that the 'boys' were in are filling with water.
