OK my good friends, it's time to pull the trailer out of storage to do a systems check, wash and fill the tires. I love doing this because it means it's almost... TIME TO RALLY BABY!!!

Test cheesy-snack things in the oven at the moment, a Gourmet recipe from a few years ago. So far, they go great with Martinis.

hi peter,
she's a really nice trailer for her age... everything works except no cold air from the ac... It's the axels that are the problem. We're cautious about taking it out until they've been replaced. and needs new tires... and new Alcoa wheels... That all should be happening soon... In the mean time we've rented a cabin and we'll just wrap some aluminum foil around the door... that should work
I am sooo ready to view all these AS's.... will be sooo cool... I have always loved them...
What doesn't go with martini's??? see you there, gail and don

Spiders and Pollen and Webs.. Oh My...
Well, the good ol' Condoluminum has been patiently sitting in the side yard since Jackson in October... The fridge got a workout over the Holidays, and the trailer served one weekend as "Wheeled Guest Room", but the bottoms of the tires are still facing down after 6 months.. Sigh...
Got the hose out, blasted the spider webs and yellow-green pollen deposits, and hit the battery charger.. Tested smoke and CO detectors, and restocked pantry and closets. Tomorrow we flush out the water tank and test the plumbing and the refrigerator.. Dianne is estimating the size of the salad bowl and we are getting ready... I wish I got a Spring Break...
We're going to have to find an excuse for an outing between April and October this year...

Condo..
Could be worse... It could have been sitting in the side yard of a home located in New Jersey or some other winterey place..
Having grown up in Sunnyvale.. If I was an airstream waiting to be used for six months and had to hang out somewhere.. I would want to be in Sunnyvale..
See you guys there..

I'm sure not complaining about the Sunnyvale part... I grew up in New York, Cleveland and Pittsburgh.. Shoveled lots of snow, and battled other elements as well.. Friends in New England recently described visual of furniture floating in basements, and I've driven in 2 feet of new snow and didn't enjoy it.. I just need to find a style of retirement that doesn't involve 60 hour work weeks...

Four days and counting
Only four days left until I arrive at Casini. Can't wait to see everybody. We'll be there to greet y'all as you arrive.
Settling on potato casserole for the potluck and I'll come up with some nibbles and wine for happy hour on Friday.

Hey, put us on for cheese nibbles for Friday, and actually, I think I'll make a Risotto on Saturday- stove in the Globie isn't working yet, but can make it on the camp stove!

We will bring the following.
Friday Happy Hour - Chicken Wings - Bombay Gin

Do we need more vegetables? Let us know... happy to bring some.
Do we still need to bring Tarps and Poles for weather/rain forecast???
