WTF? oh man DG thats bad news. any way we can schedule it so you can make it? definitely would suck if you and LL weren't there.

glad you are offering to scout the park for us. we'll be waiting for a report.

I don't LIE..... very well.

We would need an 'offcial liar' for some of us. I know if I said my rig....car and trailer....is a 1990 or newer my face will contradict me.

Jackson Rancheria RV

LL and I cruised up to have brunch and check out the RV park. WOW! We loved it! Relaxing vista views. plenty of room, fulll hookups, propane camp fires allowed!!!, pool and hot tubs, pet friendly(pet park under construction), spotless tiled restrooms, community area with kitchen and large gas grill. Let the pictures tell the rest of the story. How does $25 a night sound....Full moon weekend Oct. 10,11,12.

more

here's a few more pics, This place opened in feb 08, when the trees grow it will be very nice, Notice how much green grass is located between the large sites! No water truck needed! The angle of most of the sites leaves unobstructed views and in some of the interiour sites 4 sites could almost form a family affair. So I liked the place, just my thoughts. I can call for all the other group info if there is any interest, as the Group Lady was off today. All the campers we spoke with were extremely pleased with how their groups were treated. Group Friendly- means they really want to keep all group members together, after all is not that what gang camping is all about?!?!?!

Looks great - we're in!

Thanks DG and LL for the reconnaissance!

I believe this is a map for those not familiar with the area.

Does this mean we start a new thread for Oct?

as soon as we're sure, i'll start a new thread.

Ooh! It's Pretty!

It's so pretty and it looks spotless!

Thanks DG and LL. We hope you can make it. It wouldn't be the same without you.

AHA....I thought there would be a catch. You gotta 'dump upon arrival'. AND....they will give you an approved sanitizer. I can live with that. I also read that there is a group barbeque area. That may work too as I doubt our usual pot luck won't be held at our rigs. I can live with that.

Of course they'll make it! After all, what could be more healing than a Norcal Airstream rally?!
Looks like a lovely spot--and close to some good mountain lake exploring as well as some awesome historical sites.
And I'm sure we'll come up with some good campfire alternatives....
Thanks for the scouting!
