We're currently camped on BLM land in Quartzsite. The Escapees have a bunch of 'birds of a feather' groups. Like knitting, bird watching, etc. Camped a ways from us is the B w/o F group

So begins the 'bird'...'fowl' jokes. Buttercup will need to change his avatar. I just booked site...er Perch 139 for Lynn and I. We have asked our daughter and her boys (hubby and 2 sons) to join us on Potluck Saturday and Sunday. They live in Oakland and will see if the timing will work for them. Anyway our reservations are for a week begining on 4/8. Lynn and I want time to explore the coast a bit more before we become absorbed in the festivities when you all arrive. Does that make US the "Official Greeters" this time?

Well, birds are really nice and I really don't want to throw one into the firepit. I was thinking more along the lines of River Rats! I hate rats!

Hmmm? Rat-a toullie, for the main course...as far as the drinks, we can have some sort of bubonic chaser, a rat-tail-gatiing theme, pin the tail on the rat, the rat toss, BURNING RAT! Ewww.....
They're really icky creatures though and I don't know if I can handle the theme. Of course Buttercup will probably LOVE them and catch one and make me squeal! ...and Doorgunner will probably lauch one over the river!
