Accelerant spud gun!!

Well I got it going tonite, enjoying the lunar eclipse.
So I pulled out the old spud gun, filled up a ping pong ball with gasoline,( had to drill a fill hole) then hollowed out a spot in the tater to hold the pinger,gently loaded the gun.Trying to keep the whole thing level as I injected Right Guard deoderant into the combustion chamber. quickly spun on the cover , aimed at the moon, gave the igniter a twist----- WOW wow wow.What a trail of flame!!!
guess some of the gas leaked onto the tater and when ignition occured as the tater was being launched the fuel spill also ignited! Don't need no purple haze here.
So who's parking next to me again?

Not I. It appears that we can be in firing range at 20 sites away. So did the spud make it to the moon or was it you that shot down the satellite last night?

Everyone's safe!

Robert- I do not point the spudder at peoples!
Yes I did shoot at the moon last night, when I looked up the blasted moon was gone! holly molly, I got the super power goin on, While the navy is screwin around shootin toxic satellites down,I'm doin it big time.squids anyway, hohum.
FWIW-within 3 campsites-point of aim point of impact. after that adjust elevation accordingly and windage also.
I have learned a few things particular to this launcher;
1 Never bury barrel in gopher hole during firing-recoil triples, causes ripping in skin requiring stitches.
2 Never fire fuel laden ping pong balls standing on concrete,damage to spudder may occur when devise hits deck,and flash from massive ignition leaves you blinded and you can not tell how extensive the fire is on your clothing requiring "emergency stop,drop, and roll procedure".
3 Never show spudder to armed enforcement types-request a warrant.

So I'm still wondering where this sort of redneck behaviour is founded within my soul.I'm a yankee boy.
So I'm bringin the spudder to Casini, pop a few into the river.

OK, Janet, you hide the ping-pong balls and I'll stash the potatoes...Who's gonna find his RightGuard? LL, that's your job!

I was half-expecting to hear the newscaster last night report that the doomed Spy Satellite was shot down by a mysterious launching from Lodi....
